THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — In the midst of a three-game losing streak, the Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys have suffered a string of injuries that could cause depth concerns at several positions.
On Monday, Rams coach Sean McVay announced veteran cornerback Aqib Talib will be placed on injured reserve because of fractured ribs and left guard Joe Noteboom will undergo season-ending surgery after tearing the ACL and MCL in his right knee.
Safety John Johnson III has a right shoulder injury. He will seek further testing and opinions, but it could sideline him indefinitely.
“This is a challenging time,” McVay said. “But it’s not something that you’re going to let be deflating.”
Rams running backs Todd Gurley and Malcolm Brown are considered day-to-day, McVay said, ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Cheap Atlanta Falcons Jerseys.
Gurley was inactive last Sunday in a 20-7 loss to the 49ers because of a left thigh contusion, and Brown, who started in Gurley’s place, was slowed during the game because of an ankle injury.
Talib will be sidelined for at least eight weeks before he is eligible to return from IR. Each team can activate only two players from IR.
A 12th-year pro in the final season of a two-year, $19 million contract, Talib did not practice last week and was inactive 49ers, after suffering a rib injury in a Week 5 loss to the Cheap Seattle Seahawks Jerseys. Last season, Talib also was placed on injured reserve after he suffered an ankle injury in Week 3 that required surgery. He returned in Week 13.
Cornerback Troy Hill started seven games in Talib’s absence last season and started again last Sunday. A fifth-year pro, Hill finished with four tackles and a pass deflection. He is expected to maintain the starting role with Talib out.
Defensive end Michael Brockers said the defense would “take a big hit in our leadership,” in losing Talib, who plays in a secondary that includes safeties Eric Weddle and Johnson and cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Nickell Robey-Coleman.
Noteboom’s injury leaves the Rams thin on the offensive line.
“That’s a big loss,” McVay said about the first-year starter. “He made a lot of progress in the early stages of this season.”
Offensive guard Jamil Demby replaced Noteboom after he was sidelined against the 49ers, but McVay said the starting position would be evaluated moving forward.
“We’ll look outside and see if there’s maybe some guys available to add some depth, but we’ll fill the starting spot from inside,” said McVay. “Jamil has had a chance to play a lot of snaps, and David Edwards is a guy that we have a lot of confidence in, so those are things that we’re going to work through.”
The Rams selected Demby from Maine with a sixth-round pick in 2018. He played throughout the preseason and started Week 3 when right guard Austin Blythe was out because of an ankle injury.
Edwards is a rookie who was selected in the sixth round from Wisconsin.
Johnson, a third-year pro who has two interceptions this season, appeared to injure his shoulder in the first quarter against the 49ers, but he returned later in the game. He finished with four tackles.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Cheap Jacksonville Jaguars Jerseys and linebacker Myles Jack helped keep utilities on for several elderly Jacksonville residents this month.
Per JEA’s official Twitter account, Jack and the Jaguars’ one-time donation was enough to pay electric and water bills for 31 elderly customers who were unable to pay their bills. The amount donated was not released, but JEA also tweeted out a photo of a letter that Jack wrote to those he helped.
“I’m blessed to play the sport I love for a living, but I know that many individuals are less fortunate and may struggle from time to time with their monthly bills,” Jack wrote. “I want to do my part to support other members of the Jacksonville community.
“This week I made a financial contribution to help keep the lights on and the water running for you and others in our city. The Jaguars agreed to match my contribution so we could double the number of homes and families we could help. We hope it gives you temporary relief through whatever struggles you may be facing.”
Thank you to @MylesJack and the @Jaguars for their generous one-time donation to help pay the utility bills of some of our elderly customers who were unable to pay their bills. Through their generosity, they kept the lights on and water running for 31 customers. #DUUUVAL pic.twitter.com/WHWcLjv8Si

Jack, the Jaguars’ second-round pick in 2016, signed a four-year, $57 million contract extension in August that includes $33 million guaranteed.
RENTON, Wash. — Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll says the team expects second-year tight end Will Dissly to miss the remainder of the season with an Achilles injury “unless something miraculous happens.”
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported Sunday that the Seahawks feared a torn Achilles for Dissly, who went down in the second quarter of their 32-28 win over the Cheap Cleveland Browns Jerseys. Carroll did not have any update on Dissly’s test results Monday but continued to assume the worst.
“Really unfortunate that we lose Will Dissly, who has been a fantastic part of our team,” he said. “Just a young guy, but he’s made a big impression early on all of us and we’re going to miss the heck out of him as he recovers from an Achilles injury.”
Losing Dissly put something of a damper on a come-from-behind victory that pushed the Seahawks to 5-1 for only the third time in franchise history. They’ll have defensive tackle Jarran Reed back from his six-game suspension as they try to get to 6-1 at home against the Cheap Baltimore Ravens Jerseys.
‘Turnover Thursday’ carries over for Seahawks, keys 5-1 start
It’s the second serious injury in as many years for Dissly, who tore his patellar tendon in Week 4 of his rookie season. A fourth-round pick out of Washington last year, Dissly caught four touchdowns in Seattle’s first five games this year to lead all Cheap NFL Jerseys tight ends. His six touchdowns in his first eight career games were tied for the most by a tight end since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger. He entered Sunday with 23 catches for 262 yards, having emerged as one of Russell Wilson’s go-to options in the passing game in addition to being a strong run-blocker.
“We talked last night in the locker room,” Carroll said. “His attitude was incredible. He’s talking about 2020 already and [saying], ‘You can count on me’ and ‘I can’t wait to get working.’ Just an amazing attitude. It was the attitude that took him thorough the past rehab, and you hate to get good at something like that, but he’s prepared to take this on and he’ll do a fantastic job and will beat all of the time frames that he’s faced with and will do a great job returning.”
With Dissly headed to injured reserve, Luke Willson and Jacob Hollister are the only true tight ends the Seahawks have on their 53-man roster. George Fant serves as a de facto tight end but started Sunday at left tackle while Duane Brown was sidelined because of a biceps injury. Carroll said Brown and right guard D.J. Fluker, who was also out Sunday due to a hamstring injury, are both day to day. He added that if Brown can’t play Sunday against Baltimore, he’d likely be back for the following week at Atlanta.
The Seahawks also have veteran tight end Ed Dickson on IR. He’s not eligible to play until the game against the Falcons in Week 9, by which point he’ll have missed the requisite eight games.
“He’s working really hard,” Carroll said of Dickson, who injured his knee over the summer. “He’s doing everything. He’s running and lifting and doing all that, all that he’s allowed to do. What will be telling is when he finally can come back on the field, can he do the football moves and the Cheap Football Jerseys regimen and respond and be OK with that. He’s working to get ready right now, so we’re very fortunate to have a chance to have a guy like Ed come back to us with not much of a space in there without Will. In the meantime, we’re going to count on our guys.”
Reed’s six-game suspension officially ended Monday, allowing him to return to team headquarters for the first time since the season began. The Seahawks will get a roster exemption allowing him to practice this week before he’s activated to the 53-man roster, but that will have to happen before Sunday’s game.
Carroll said Reed, who’s coming off a 10.5-sack season, will play against the Ravens, but it’s not clear how much.
“He’s like a kid at Christmas time, he’s so excited to be back with his teammates and be back with us,” Carroll said. “It seemed like it went kind of fast to us. It didn’t for him. I asked him specifically that. It seemed like it took forever. He’s been such an integral part of our club. It’s great to have him back in the locker room. His play is exceptional, too. I don’t know what to tell you about how it’s going to go. I haven’t seen him on the field yet. I know he worked really hard from everything he said to stay abreast of his conditioning and all of that. He looks good and strong and all, and we’ll just have to wait and see how he handles it.”
Carroll expects running back Rashaad Penny to be back to full speed Wednesday after he missed the Browns game with a hamstring injury.
McVay said the second opinion that Johnson will seek will determine if he is available Sunday or if he will miss extended time.
If Johnson is sidelined, backup safety Marqui Christian, a fourth-year pro, will start in his place.
The Rams, coming off an NFC championship and a Super Bowl LIII appearance, are 3-3, and they have lost three straight for the first time since McVay took over as coach in 2017.
The Rams will play their next three games away from home over a month-long period, including matchups against the Atlanta Falcons, the Cheap Cincinnati Bengals Jerseys in London and the Cheap Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys.
“I trust that we’re going to be one of those teams that people seem to think that things aren’t going that well, but I think our guys are continuing to believe,” McVay said. “They’re staying the course, and we’re going to see this thing through.”
