EDMONTON, Alberta — The Arizona Coyotes are off to an impressive start early in the season.

Derek Stepan scored at 2:01 of overtime and the Cheap Arizona Coyotes Jerseys beat the Cheap Edmonton Oilers Jerseys 3-2 on Monday night.

Stepan took a feed from Nick Schmaltz and picked the corner on goalie Mikko Koskinen for the winner.

“I think our group has been doing that (grinding) all year, it’s a big part of our group is our ability to bounce back, whether it be game to game or even in game,” Stepan said of Arizona’s mental resilience after the Oilers tied it up late. “Maybe when we don’t have our `A’ stuff, we’re able to have a push back within a few minutes.”

Michael Grabner and Carl Soderberg also scored for the Coyotes, who have won four of their last five.

“It was not a great start, them scoring right away, but back-to-backs you have to rely on all the lines and everyone was contributing and that’s a really tough line to play against and they have last change,” said Coyotes goalie Darcy Kuemper, who made 26 saves. “I thought everyone, whoever was out there did a great job.”

Connor McDavid and Gaetan Haas scored for the Oilers, who had their two-game winning streak snapped.

“We know we could have been a little bit better at the beginning of the game, but we found a way to get that second goal in the third,” said Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse. “Sure, we’ve been doing it a little too often where we have to find ways at the end of the game to win or force overtime, but over the course of 82 games it’s going to happen. It just so happens that it happened in a cluster at the beginning of the year.”

The Oilers only needed 91 seconds to get on the scoreboard as McDavid had a highlight-reel goal, moving past defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson and blowing past Kuemper to record his seventh goal of the season.

Grabner beat Koskinen stick side with a wrist shot to tie the game 1-1 3:30 into the first.

Soderberg took advantage of a turnover by Edmonton defender Joel Persson to make it 2-1 for the Coyotes at about the midway mark of the second, beating Koskinen high to the glove side.

Haas tied it with 4:41 left in the third period. He tipped a shot by Matt Benning past Kuemper for his first career NHL goal, forcing overtime.

“It’s good that we score this goal, and we get a point,” said the 27-year-old Swiss center, playing his first season in the NHL. “Maybe in the end it’s the point we need. I think it’s a good point.”

It was the first of four meetings between the Pacific Division rivals, with each team winning both road games last year. … Edmonton has struggled with the Coyotes for quite some time, coming into the game with just seven wins in regulation against Arizona in their last 45 games. .. Kuemper entered the game having only allowed three goals on one occasion out of nine games this season. .. It was Oilers head coach Dave Tippett’s first game against his old Coyotes squad. He coached Arizona for eight seasons (2009-10 to 2016-17). … Alex Chiasson got an opportunity on the top line with Draisaitl and McDavid in an attempt to jumpstart his production. But, he was replaced by Sam Gagner as the game went on.

LOS ANGELES — Drew Doughty scored with 16.6 remaining in overtime and the Cheap Los Angeles Kings Jerseysbeat the Cheap Chicago Blackhawks Jerseys 4-3 on Saturday night.

Michael Amadio, Kyle Clifford and Matt Roy also scored for the Kings, who snapped a four-game losing streak. Jack Campbell made 24 saves.

David Kampf had a goal and Dominik Kubalik scored on the power play for the Blackhawks, who are 1-4-2 in their past seven games. Corey Crawford made 40 saves.

Crawford stopped the initial shot during a 2-on-1 break late in overtime, but the puck trickled free from under the Blackhawks goalie. Doughty was able to tap in the loose puck for his fourth goal of the season.

Amadio got to the back post to backhand in a pass by Dustin Brown at 12:37 of the third to put the Kings up 3-2. Jonathan Toews tied it at 3-3 with a wrist shot from the left circle with 1:39 remaining.

The Kings went up 2-0 early in the first period on goals by Clifford at 2:50 and Roy at 4:29. The Blackhawks cut it to 2-1 on a power-play goal by Kubalik at 8:25. Kampf tied it at 2-all when Campbell misplayed the puck under pressure from Kubalik, giving Kampf a shot into an open net for his second goal of the season at 17:23.

Crawford came out of the game and went back to the dressing room after Roy’s goal, but returned with 10:13 left in the period. Crawford had taken a puck to the mask on a shot by Kings defenseman Kurtis MacDermid at 2:41.

Game notes
Brown had two assists. . Blackhawks D Adam Boqvist, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2018 draft, made his Cheap NHL Jerseys debut. . Kubalik’s goal ended an 0-for-21 drought on the power play dating to Oct. 18 against Columbus.

SAN JOSE, Calif. — The Cheap San Jose Sharks Jerseys are putting a lot of shots on net. The Cheap Vancouver Canucks Jerseys rose to the occasion Saturday night

Elias Pettersson scored two goals, Thatcher Demko had 24 saves and the Canucks beat the Sharks 5-2.

A day after the Sharks fired 53 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Cheap Winnipeg Jets Jerseys, the Canucks held them to 26.

“That’s a good Cheap Hockey Jerseys team over there,” Canucks coach Travis Green said. “To keep their shot production down is not easy. They’re good at getting pucks tot the net, they’ve got some forwards that go there and some (defensemen) that can really shoot.

“Our team played well tonight.”

Brandon Sutter, Jake Virtanen and Adam Gaudette also scored as the Canucks (9-3-2) won for the ninth time in 12 games.

“We’re trying to come out hard every game,” Pettersson said. “We’re trying to play physical, play hard, skate a lot and go from there, and I think we’ve done it.”

Marc-Edouard Vlasic scored a short-handed goal for San Jose, which has lost five straight and seven of eight (1-6-1).

“Everyone wants to win so badly,” Sharks captain Logan Couture said. “You want to do what you can to help the team. When you’re in a rut like this you really, really, really want to do whatever you can. Sometimes that ends up hurting you in the end.

“You can’t fault the effort. I thought we worked hard. It’s just tough right now.”

Demko, a 23-year-old former Boston College standout who won the Mike Richter Award for the most outstanding Division I NCAA goalie in 2016, was seeking his first career shutout when Vlasic scored his second goal of the season with just over nine minutes left in the game.

Bo Horvat had two assists for the Canucks. He has 11 points (five goals, six assists) in his last seven games.

Aaron Dell had 23 saves for San Jose.

The Sharks were 12-1-1 in their last 14 games against Vancouver. They were 3-1 against the Canucks last season.

Sutter scored the game’s first goal just over four minutes into the first period.

The nephew of former Sharks coach Darryl Sutter scored his fourth goal on a backhander just outside the goalie’s circle.

Pettersson scored his fifth goal midway through the second period. The Canucks center has 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in his last seven games.

The Canucks took a 3-0 lead at 45 seconds of the second period when Dell inadvertently dragged the puck past the red line with his pad after stopping a shot by Virtanen.

Gaudette broke the game open with his second goal with just over five minutes left in the second period.

Pettersson scored his sixth goal scored on a power play at 12:23 of the third to make it 5-1.

The Sharks’ penalty-killing unit hadn’t given up a goal at home this season in 20 previous disadvantages.

Evander Kane scored his eighth goal for San Jose in the closing seconds.

San Jose fell to 4-10-1, tied with three teams for the Cheap NHL Jerseys second-worst record, as they followed a persistent pattern of falling behind early, a scenario that rarely ends well for the Sharks. San Jose has been scored on first in 11 of their first 15 games, in which they’re 2-9.

“It’s a problem that’s plagued us; we’ve got to fix it. You can’t play from behind in this league and expect to win,” Sharks coach Peter DeBoer said.

“Everybody’s got to look in the mirror. There’s no cavalry coming. This is our group. It is what it is, we own it. There is no hiding from that. It’s our record and you take it for what it is.”

Vancouver rookie D Quinn Hughes was not in the lineup against San Jose after suffering a lower body injury in Friday’s overtime loss to Anaheim. . The Canucks recalled D Oscar Fantenberg from Utica of the AHL. . Sharks Jonny Brodzinski was out of the lineup with a shoulder injury he suffered in Friday’s Winnipeg game. Coach Pete DeBoer said his status is day-to-day. . Referee Francis Charron stayed in the game after being dropped to the ice after being struck in his face by a deflected puck late in the second period.

LAS VEGAS — Kyle Connor scored in overtime to lift the Winnipeg Jets to a 4-3 victory over theCheap Vegas Golden Knights Jerseys on Saturday night.

It was Connor’s seventh career goal in seven games against Vegas.

The Jets won their second straight game on back-to-back nights, after surviving San Jose’s 53 shots Friday during a 3-2 victory.

Combining regular season and playoff games, the Jets are now 2-4-0 all-time at T-Mobile Arena.

It was the second time in three nights the Golden Knights blew a two-goal lead in the third period, after losing to Montreal 5-4 in overtime on Thursday.

Winnipeg is 4-3-0 against the Pacific Division this season after going 16-6-2 against Pacific foes last season. The Jets are on a 29-10-4 run in their past 43 games versus the Pacific Division.

Mathieu Perreault scored two goals and Mark Scheifele added one for Winnipeg. Laurent Brossoit made 23 saves.

Jonathan Marchessault, Max Pacioretty and Nate Schmidt scored for Vegas. Malcolm Subban made 35 saves.

Perreault gave the Jets an early lead with his 200th point as a member of the Jets, as he deflected Gabriel Bourque’s turnaround shot off Vegas defenseman Deryk Engelland’s turnover in front of Subban.

It wouldn’t take long for the Golden Knights to answer, as Marchessault’s power-play goal a little more than two minutes later tied it and started a string of three unanswered goals in less than three minutes.

Pacioretty put Vegas on top 2-1 when he buried Mark Stone’s cross-ice pass that split a pair of defenders after he did a fantastic job of keeping the puck in the offensive zone. Stone leads Vegas with 18 points and has at least one point in 13 of the team’s 15 games this season.

Schmidt notched his first goal of the season when he skated in behind Winnipeg’s defenders during on a 4-on-4 and one-timed William Karlsson’s second assist of the game.

Karlsson also assisted on Marchessault’s goal, moving him two points shy of 200 for his career. It marked Karlsson’s fourth straight game with a point.

Perrault’s second goal came midway through the third period just 15 seconds into a power play, cutting the Golden Knights’ lead to one. It was Winnipeg’s first power-play goal in four attempts against the league’s second-best penalty kill, as Vegas came into the game having allowed just five goals on 51 penalty kills.

Scheifele tied the game with a disputed goal, after it appeared Schmidt beat Connor to the end line for an icing call. But when the call was waved off, Connor fed Scheifele for the one-timer past Subban.

Game notes
After starter Marc-Andre Fleury took a maintenance day on Friday with the flu, per coach Gerard Gallant, the Golden Knights recalled goaltender Garret Sparks on an emergency basis from the AHL’s Chicago Wolves. … Vegas forwards Stone, Cody Glass, Cody Eakin and Ryan Reaves hail from Winnipeg. … Jets center Adam Lowry sent Vegas wing Alex Tuch to the locker room after a vicious hit to the head. It also resulted in Reaves’ sixth fight (per hockeyfights.com) since being acquired by Vegas in 2018, as the Golden Knights enforcer took exception to the hit. … With his two assists, Connor passed Todd White for 21st in franchise scoring with 138.

NEW YORK — De’Aaron Fox scored 24 points, Buddy Hield had 22 and the Cheap Sacramento Kings Jerseys routed the Cheap New York Knicks Jerseys 113-92 on Sunday night for their second straight victory following a 0-5 start.

Harrison Barnes added 19 points and Richaun Holmes finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings, who brought the momentum from their 102-101 home victory over Utah on Friday across the country and ran away from the Knicks.

Sacramento led by as many as 32 points in a surprisingly simple start to a three-game road trip. Nemanja Bjelica chipped in 10 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

Marcus Morris scored 28 points for the Knicks, who dropped their third straight and fell to 1-6. Rookie RJ Barrett had 22 points.

Sacramento led by nine after one quarter, then opened the second with an 11-0 run to build a 43-23 lead on Bogdan Bogdanovic’s 3-pointer with 7:34 remaining in the half. New York didn’t score until more than five minutes had elapsed in the period, and after clawing back within 12 later in the quarter, promptly gave up the next nine points as the Kings pushed the lead to 55-34.

A 61-41 halftime lead quickly was expanded to 76-44 on Fox’s jumper, and boos broke out during a third quarter that ended with Sacramento ahead 90-64.

TIP-INS

Kings: Coach Luke Walton’s pregame interview with reporters was attended by a couple special guests. His father Bill, a Hall of Fame player, stood in the back along with Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead. Both wore Kings sweatshirts. “In the NBA season you’re on the road a lot, so any time you can have family and friends around, it’s a nice mini break. But they know and we know we’re here for business. We’re here to try to get better as a team and try to win a game.” … The Kings have won the last four meetings.

Knicks: Second-round pick Ignas Brazdeikis made his Cheap NBA Jerseys debut in the fourth quarter. He scored four points. … Coach David Fizdale changed up his starting lineup, inserting Bobby Portis at center in place of Mitchell Robinson. Portis scored two points. Robinson had 10. … The Knicks remained short-handed in the backcourt, with point guards Elfrid Payton (strained right hamstring) and Dennis Smith Jr. (personal reasons) still out.

FATHER KNOWS BEST

Though Bill Walton has been a popular TV broadcaster and is known for his loquaciousness, he picks and chooses his spots when it comes to talking to his son about the game.

“My dad’s been great my whole Cheap Basketball Jerseys career, whether I was a player or now into coaching,” Luke Walton said. “He offers advice when I want it and he knows when to leave me alone. So he’s a great person to be able to talk to and communicate about the game, what he sees, but he also knows that this is my job and I’m doing it. So, when and when not to put his voice in there.”

DETROIT — Though Bruce Brown had career highs in points and assists on Saturday night, his coach was just as interested with a stat he didn’t pile up.

No turnovers.

Coach Dwane Casey praised his second-year player after a 113-109 victory over the Cheap Brooklyn Nets Jerseys, in which Brown had 22 points and seven assists in his first career start as a point guard.

“That was the key to the game was not letting them get out in transition,” Casey said of the turnovers. “He did an excellent job. Him being a point guard, that’s why the summer league was beneficial for him, to make sure that he learned to run pick-and-roll, to run the team. He did a good job.”

Andre Drummond had 25 points and 20 rebounds, and Luke Kennard finished with 24 points and helped seal the win with a driving basket and two free throws in the final 30 seconds of both teams’ second game in two nights.

Drummond had at least 20 points and 20 rebounds for the third straight game and fourth time in seven games this season. He added six assists, five blocks and three steals.

“He’s a big guy, and he’s skilled under there in terms of rebounding,” Nets center Jarrett Allen said. “He knows where to put his body and he knows where to put himself. At the end of the day, he has every skill set needed for it.”

Kyrie Irving had his first triple-double with Brooklyn with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. He played well late but scored six points in the first three quarters, in part because of Brown’s defense.

The game swung wildly in the middle quarters. The Nets outscored Detroit by 15 points in the second quarter, and the Pistons turned it around for a 14-point advantage in the third.

“We were down 14 in the third quarter, but it was nothing but grit and grind to come back the way the guys did,” Casey said. “We’ve got to be that way every night.”

The Pistons, who averaged 19.8 turnovers in the first six games, committed eight in the first half but none after halftime.

Spencer Dinwiddie split a pair of free throws with 7.4 seconds remaining, and Drummond did the same with 6.7 seconds left to put the Pistons up 111-108.

Prince then split a pair, missing the second on purpose, and Drummond grabbed the rebound and made a pair with 3.6 seconds left to seal the win.

“For some reason we ran out of gas in the second half, and I’m not sure why,” Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said.

Drummond had 11 rebounds in the first quarter and assisted the first three baskets. His playmaking was a boost for a team short on ball handlers.

Playing without injured point guards Reggie Jackson (back), Derrick Rose (hamstring) and Tim Frazier (shoulder), the Pistons played Brown and Kennard at the position, with Drummond facilitating from the high post.

“It was a game of opportunity for some guys,” Kennard said. “Bruce, the way he stepped up tonight, he was kind of one of our leaders on the court. So credit to the kid. He played his heart out offensively and he was guarding their best player throughout the entire game.”

Taurean Prince added 20 points and Joe Harris had 18 for the Nets.

TIP-INS

Brooklyn: Caris LeVert said Friday night’s 25-point performance against Houston was in honor of his grandmother, who died this week. LeVert had 14 points on Saturday. … DeAndre Jordan returned to the starting lineup for the third game this season. Atkinson said before the game that Allen has struggled against Drummond, and that could force a change. In three games against Brooklyn last season, Drummond averaged 9.3 offensive rebounds per game.

Detroit: This was Detroit’s third different starting lineup in seven games this season. … The Rev. Jesse Jackson was in attendance.

MONTH OFF

Jackson is out at least four weeks with a back injury, the team announced earlier Saturday.

Jackson, who played the season’s first two games but has missed the past four, has a stress reaction in his lower back. The team announced treatment and rehabilitation has started and he will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

All-Star Blake Griffin has missed all seven games with lingering soreness in his left knee and hamstring. It was announced before the season that Griffin would be re-evaluated in early November.

MAKING HISTORY

MIAMI — The Cheap Miami Marlins Jerseys have declined their $16 million option on infielder Starlin Castro for 2020 and will pay him a $1 million buyout, allowing him to become a free agent.

The move, confirmed Friday, had been expected as the Marlins rebuild.

The Cheap New York Mets Jerseys have hired former All-Star Carlos Beltran as their new manager, the team announced Friday evening.

Beltran’s deal is for three years with an option for a fourth season. A news conference is planned for Monday.
A nine-time All-Star during 20 major league seasons, Beltran played for the Mets from 2005 to 2011. This will be his first job as a major league manager.

He interviewed to become Cheap New York Yankees Jerseys manager after the 2017 season, when Aaron Boone was hired, and spent this season as an adviser to Yankees general manager Brian Cashman.

“At the beginning, it’s a little bit overwhelming. There’s a lot of information that you have to digest,” Beltran said after he was interviewed by the Yankees two years ago. “Being a player and being able to play this game for such a long time, I have seen a lot, and I have seen the importance of what players need in the clubhouse.”

Beltran, 42, replaces Mickey Callaway and becomes the first minority to fill one of the eight major league manager vacancies this offseason. Those jobs filled are: the Cheap Chicago Cubs Jerseys (David Ross), Cheap Kansas City Royals Jerseys (Mike Matheny), the Cheap Los Angeles Angels Jerseys (Joe Maddon), Cheap Philadelphia Phillies Jerseys (Joe Girardi) and San Diego (Jayce Tingler). Cheap Pittsburgh Pirates Jerseysand Cheap San Francisco Giants Jerseys remain open.

Callaway was hired by general manager Sandy Alderson and led New York to a disappointing 77-85 record in 2018, his first season. Brodie Van Wagenen replaced Alderson as GM and proclaimed the Mets the favorites to win the National League East in 2019. But New York fell to 41-51 with a loss in its first game following the All-Star break and could climb only to the periphery of the wild-card race before finishing 86-76, third in the division behind Philadelphia and World Series champion Cheap Washington Nationals Jerseys.

Beltran is the fourth manager born in Puerto Rico among the current group, joining Boston’s Alex Cora, Toronto’s Charlie Montoyo and Washington’s Dave Martinez. Martinez and Cora have led their teams to the past two World Series titles.

Beltran signed a $119 million, seven-year contract with the Mets in January 2005 and helped them win the NL East in 2006, but he took a called third strike with the bases loaded against Adam Wainwright, ending New York’s 3-1 loss to St. Louis in Game 7 of the 2006 NL Championship Series.

Beltran got into a flap with Mets management in January 2010 when he underwent surgery on his right knee without team approval. Beltran went to Colorado to be examined by Dr. Richard Steadman, who operated. Assistant general manager John Ricco said at the time the team wanted to discuss Steadman’s diagnosis and possibly seek a third opinion but was never given the opportunity.

With New York out of contention in 2011, the Mets traded Beltran to San Francisco that July for pitcher Zack Wheeler, who tied for the team lead in wins in 2019.

Beltran finished with a .279 average, 435 home runs, 1,587 RBIs and 312 stolen bases for Kansas City (1998-04), Houston (2004, 2017), the Mets (2005-11), San Francisco (2011), St. Louis (2012-13), the Yankees (2014-16) and Texas (2016).

Castro, 29, batted .270 while playing all 162 games this year and had career-high totals of 22 homers and 86 RBI.

Castro is a 10-year veteran who spent two seasons with Miami.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. — Defensive back Darius Slay still doesn’t care whether or not he was traded from the Cheap Detroit Lions Jerseys earlier this week. He heard the rumors and ignored them. He spent a day which could be stressful for others, with futures in the balance and all, playing video games — getting better at Call of Duty and NBA 2K.

If the Lions decided they didn’t want him anymore, so be it. He was OK with that. But don’t take that the wrong way, either. Darius Slay has no problems staying, either. And has no issues being around for a long time if that’s what ends up happening. Including his entire career.

“I wouldn’t mind,” Slay said Wednesday. “I wouldn’t mind playing my whole career, who wouldn’t want to play on just one team. But it’s a whole business.”

BEREA, Ohio — Odell Beckham Jr. came to the defense of Baker Mayfield on Thursday, calling some criticism of the embattled Cheap Cleveland Browns Jerseys quarterback unfair, while noting that others on the team need to play better.

“You can’t sit here and say it’s all on him. You have to take a look at everything going on around him,” Beckham said. “Obviously, he has to play better. I have to player better. … We all need to do better. Can’t sit back and be like, ‘It’s Baker’s fault.’ I feel like that’s the easiest thing for us to do. I’ve been in situations where one person is getting the blame, and the rest of the people are quiet to kind of stay out of the fire.

“I’m going to jump in the fire with him. I’ll be the first one. Some of these losses are on me. I need to be in the right place at the right time. I’m going to do better. And that’s what I plan to do for the rest of the season.”

The Browns are 2-5, with Mayfield tied for the Cheap NFL Jerseys lead with Tampa Bay’s Jameis Winston with 12 interceptions. Beckham, meanwhile, has only one touchdown catch in his first season with Cleveland and is averaging career lows with only 4.9 receptions and 69.7 yards per game.

Coming off a loss at New England, Mayfield got into a testy exchange Wednesday with a reporter before abruptly walking out of his media availability. Beckham said he’d already talked about the incident with Mayfield, referencing a Drake lyric as a lesson — “You only lose when you fight back” — while also offering understanding.

“Nobody likes to feel like you’re being poked at or prodded at, especially not a guy like that,” Beckham said. “I’ve been through that journey already, I’ve been through this fire. That’s a part of me that’s able to help him in a way. This is a kid who cares about Cheap Football Jerseys , cares about winning. Whatever people make him out to be just because of his personality — if we were winning and he was still doing it, we’d all be here laughing. Because we’re losing, we want to kind of poke at him a little.

“I’m going to be the first one here to defend him every single time. I’ve always got his back. I know what it’s like. I’ve been there. … I understand how we’re looking for the negative. But he wants to win. He’s upset he’s not winning, or he hasn’t done to the best of his ability, that’s upsetting. Just upsetting. We want to be great.”

Despite the disappointing start, Mayfield maintained Wednesday that he still believes the Browns will turn the season around. Beckham piggybacked on that, specifically noting that he and Mayfield will begin to click through the air soon enough.

“The more games we have together, the better we’ll be, but it’s time for us to turn it on,” Beckham said. “You have a highly regarded quarterback [who] I think is a phenomenal player, and I just want to be able to help him in every which way I can.

“I have no doubt in my mind that at some point in time it’s going to be everything that we all talked about.”

Slay knew that before last week, when the Lions traded safety Quandre Diggs to Seattle — setting off a raw, honest media session two days later where Slay let his feelings about loyalty be known. He’s always known the business side of it, told to him early on in his career by his mentors in the locker room.

But now with the trade deadline come and gone and Slay being with the Lions for at least the rest of 2019, he’s ready to play — although he wouldn’t say if he’ll be available this week against the Cheap Oakland Raiders Jerseys (Sunday, 4:05 ET, FOX) as he’s nursing a hamstring injury.

How much longer Slay plays — and how much longer it’s in Detroit — he doesn’t know. He said he hasn’t thought about his playing future, insisting the only future he thinks about is the one with his family. And he’s not sure how many more years he wants to play football, either.

“I ain’t trying to play that long,” Slay said. “I ain’t Rod [Woodson] or Charles [Woodson], none of them. I ain’t trying to play no 20 years.”

Rod Woodson, who mentored Slay early in his career, played 17 NFL seasons. Charles Woodson played 18 years. Neither played their entire careers with one team.

Slay said he wasn’t sure how much longer he wants to play, but that it won’t be 20. Not close. When asked if 10 was a realistic number — he’s in his seventh season now, he said that would be “a great number.”

“But whatever the Lord bless me with,” Slay said. “How I’m feeling at Year 10, but whatever. Twenty for sure, no. Not even thinking close to that.”

Money isn’t an issue — Slay referenced good financial standing multiple times, including saying “I’m a millionaire, dude,” when asked if he didn’t at least care a little about whether or not he got dealt. No one in the organization talked to him about his comments or about whether or not he was on the trade block.

He said he wasn’t fined by the organization for his comments, either, and if they had done so, “it would have been a problem, too.”

Instead, Slay is going to continue to say what he wants, when he wants. As he said — the media asks him questions and he answers them. It’s just him being honest. It’s why he still says he didn’t care whether or not he was traded.

And he didn’t care if what he said last week might have gotten dealt as well.

“The whole point in time, y’all didn’t understand it, that I didn’t care if I did,” Slay said. “It is what it is, a whole business. All I was doing here is playing ball and trying to win games.”

Should the Jaguars go with the established, highly paid veteran who has proved himself in big games — a Super Bowl winner — or stick with the exciting rookie who has captivated the fan base and could turn into a 10-plus-year starter? It will be the most scrutinized decision of Marrone’s three-year tenure with the franchise, and maybe of his career.

“I haven’t really thought about it, but I think every decision’s always a tough decision, unless it’s an injury thing where someone just has to go in there,” Marrone said. “I’m trying to focus on what we have going this week, which is a unique week, going to London.”

Marrone will likely put off the decision until after the bye week, which follows Sunday’s game against Houston at Wembley Stadium.

It’s pretty clear the fans want Minshew. They’ve fallen in love with his headband and mustache, his jorts and don’t-care-what-anyone-thinks personality.

All that stuff is interesting and amusing, but none of it should factor into the decision. What should is Minshew’s mobility, improvisation skills and the fact that he’s thrown 13 touchdown passes and two interceptions. Three of those TD passes came on plays where he bought time with his scrambling ability, including a dart to DJ Chark in the front corner of the end zone in a 29-15 victory over the Cheap New York Jets Jerseys last Sunday.

One of the biggest compliments Marrone has paid Minshew — and a major argument for him to stay in the lineup — is that the coach keeps forgetting Minshew is a rookie.

“Sometimes I look out there and you’re like, ‘That’s a veteran move, that’s a veteran player,’” Marrone said after the Jets victory. “And here’s my problem. This is all me now. I can’t get over that we gave away three points. So for me, it’s like he should’ve hit Leonard [Fournette] in the flat, he should’ve hit the crosser. Now that’s unfair to him. You know what I’m saying? That’s unfair of me to ask all of this from him, but that’s what’s on my mind right now.

“He does not play like he was brought into this league [as] a sixth-round draft pick.”

Minshew is 4-3 as a starter heading into Sunday’s game. Had you told Marrone before the season that he would lose Foles in the season opener and still have a chance to have a winning record going into the bye, he undoubtedly would have taken it.

But is that enough? The Jaguars targeted Foles as a replacement for Blake Bortles the moment the 2018 season ended. Owner Shad Khan said this past April that “our dream was to get Nick Foles,” and agreed to give Foles a four-year, $88 million contract that includes a franchise-record $50.125 million guaranteed.

Foles lost his job because he suffered a broken collarbone when Kansas City defensive lineman Chris Jones landed on him as he threw a touchdown pass. Foles wasn’t playing poorly, and the coaching staff and front office had raved about his leadership. So should the Jaguars go with the vet?

No way, former NFL general manager and current ESPN NFL front-office insider Mike Tannenbaum said. The Jaguars should stay with Minshew.

“I learned this from coach [Bill] Parcells: The best players play,” Tannenbaum said. “Obviously when you have a contract like that you deserve the benefit of the doubt, but right now the object of the exercise is to win professional Cheap Football Jerseys games and Minshew has earned the right to do that. … While Foles didn’t do anything wrong, this guy’s come in and he’s played at a high level. We were talking about this on one of the [ESPN] shows. If you took the name off the jersey and you said, ‘Hey, Daniel Jones has played as well as Gardner Minshew has,’ [Cheap New York Giants Jerseys GM] Dave Gettleman would be doing backflips. Or Dwayne Haskins. Or Kyler Murray.

“He [Minshew] is playing at a high level as a rookie quarterback, so the fact that the other guy got paid what he got paid is what it is.”

Foles does bring something Minshew doesn’t: significant experience. He has 45 starts in eight seasons and an additional six starts in the postseason. That includes Super Bowl LII, when he threw for 373 yards and three scores and caught a touchdown in Philadelphia’s 41-33 victory over New England, earning MVP honors.

Foles has seen nearly everything a defensive coordinator can throw at a quarterback, so he would have been better equipped to deal with the two-deep look New Orleans used to flummox Minshew and shut down Chark earlier this month.

Foles, however, doesn’t have Minshew’s mobility. He moves well in the pocket and he can handle rollouts, but he’s unlikely to make the kind of escape plays that Minshew did against Denver (a touchdown pass to Ryquell Armstead) and the Jets (the TD pass to Chark).

Gardner Minshew and DJ Chark have emerged as one of the league’s best QB-WR combos with five TDs in seven games. Nick Foles threw Chark a TD pass, too, on the play in which Foles was injured. Ken Murray/Icon Sportswire
It’s the biggest advantage Minshew has, and it might be what keeps him on the field.

“His off-schedule plays,” Tannenbaum said. “All the defensive coaches I’ve always worked with, they always talked about it’s so hard to defend the quarterback that can make plays with his feet. And he’s done that really, really well.

“He’s running with a purpose. He’s not trying to bail out on a play. He looks at the progressions the right way. There’s a lot of seasoned aspects of his game.”

Foles hasn’t spoken to the media since his injury, and Minshew said he’s keeping his focus on the weekly opponent. Up next are the Texans, who beat the Jaguars 13-12 in Houston in Week 2 after Jacksonville failed on a 2-point conversion try with 30 seconds to play. Minshew, in his first start, drove the Jaguars 68 yards for the potential game-winner, but Fournette was stopped short of the goal line on the conversion try.

“This is too big of a game to really think about anything else,” Minshew said. “We’re sitting at a pivotal point, 4-4, playing a divisional opponent. This’ll be the last time we get to play them, so it’s definitely a big one.”

Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys quarterback Joe Flacco is expected to miss four to six weeks because of a neck injury, pending reviews from doctors, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Flacco received a second opinion on the bulging disk in his neck and, a source told Schefter, will not need surgery, pending reviews from Dr. Robert Watkins in Los Angeles and Dr. Jack Kelley in Connecticut.

The Broncos have announced that Flacco will miss Sunday’s game against the Cheap Cleveland Browns Jerseys but have not disclosed an official timetable for his return. Initial reports indicated that the former Super Bowl MVP could miss the remainder of the season, depending on the medical evaluations on his neck.

“Everything is still on the table with Joe,” coach Vic Fangio said Thursday. “We can leave him on the 53[-man roster] and wait a while, or we could IR him. We’ll make that decision here in the next couple days. … By the end of the week I think we’ll have a better understanding, after getting all of the medical advice, going over it, what plan we’ll take long term.”

Brandon Allen, claimed off waivers on Sept. 1 from the Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys, will start against Cleveland. Fangio said Monday that the team will decide later this week whether Brett Rypien will be signed and elevated to the roster from the practice squad or whether fellow rookie Drew Lock will be activated from injured reserve to be Allen’s backup.

During the second half of Sunday’s 15-13 loss to the Cheap Indianapolis Colts Jerseys, Flacco spent much of his time between Denver’s offensive series getting his neck attended to by the medical staff. After the game, Flacco said he first felt neck pain “a couple weeks ago” and that “I don’t know if I got hit on it [Sunday] or not.”

Flacco has been sacked 26 times in eight starts this season. Only two quarterbacks have been sacked more often: Cheap Cincinnati Bengals Jerseys Andy Dalton and Cheap Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys Jameis Winston.

While everyone is naturally focusing on which quarterback Marrone will choose, here’s an important thing to remember: It’s a good position for the Jaguars to be in.

Choosing between a former Super Bowl MVP and the front-runner for the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year is a decision many Cheap NFL Jerseys coaches and execs would call a dream scenario.

“It’s a great situation that they’re in and one that most teams are very envious of,” Tannenbaum said. “I would say [stick with Minshew], for now, absolutely. With that said, I think it’s reasonable that both could play because, again, the season’s literally just half over and you look at [the number of quarterbacks who have started games], the numbers are like literally on a historic pace.

“Any team that has the depth that they have right now, they have a built-in advantage. And they deserve a ton of credit for that.”

PITTSBURGH — Cheap Pittsburgh Penguins Jerseys endured a brutal stretch in the opening days of the season in which high-profile players headed to injured reserve with alarming regularity.

Yet rather than panic, head coach Mike Sullivan used it as an opportunity to make sure the good habits he believes his team will need to win in one of the Cheap NHL Jerseys most competitive divisions become ingrained. Take fewer risks on defense. Make the simple pass on offense.

Do both well enough for long enough and Sullivan knows the scoring will take care of itself, kind of the way it did during a 7-1 demolition of the Cheap Philadelphia Flyers Jerseys on Tuesday night.

The Penguins poured in four goals during a 6:05 span of the first period — matching their first-period total on the season coming in — and Pittsburgh rarely let up in its biggest regular-season blowout over their cross-state rivals in 11 years.

“We’re playing the game the right way, the way we want to play it and when we all buy in the way the guys are buying in right now, I think we’re a very good hockey team,” Sullivan said. “Tonight we were able to finish on some of the chances we got early in the first period. I give our players credit. They had the right mindset from the drop of the puck.”

Sidney Crosby, wearing a facemask as extra protection after getting hit in the head by a shot over the weekend, had a goal and two assists to boost his career point total against the Flyers to 102. Dominik Simon and Dominik Kahun also had a goal and two assists apiece for Pittsburgh, which finished a busy October 8-5-0, not bad considering forwards Evgeni Malkin, Bryan Rust, Nick Bjugstad and Alex Galchenyuk were among the group that watched the majority of the action from the press box while sidelined with injuries.

Though Malkin remains out indefinitely with a lower-body injury, the others have made their way back, giving an already confident group a noticeable boost.

“I think you feel the energy,” Crosby said. “When guys come back in the lineup they’ve been sitting around for a while, they’re eager to get out there and I think that energy can help you. I think everyone for the first period there especially, everyone was involved and that really feeds the whole team when you can get everyone going like that.”

Jared McCann, Justin Schultz, Zach Aston-Reese and Jake Guentzel also scored for Pittsburgh. Matt Murray stopped 29 shots to win for the sixth time in his last seven starts.

Oskar Lindblom got his sixth goal for the Flyers, but Philadelphia was simply overwhelmed by the Penguins during a first-period onslaught in which Pittsburgh beat Brian Elliott four times in just more than six minutes. Elliott, given the start two days after Carter Hart was pulled in a 5-2 loss to the Cheap New York Islanders Jerseys, stuck around to finish with 30 saves but the Flyers were never in it over the final two periods.

“For sure, there’s some anger in here,” Elliott said. “We have to be controlled about it, too. You have to take what you can from this game and move on. We know we didn’t have what we needed to win out here. You could see that in pretty much every aspect of the game.”

Schultz’s first goal of the season came on an innocent flick from above the right circle 5:57 into the game on a shot that fluttered over Elliott’s right shoulder. While Rust and Kahun occupied three Philadelphia defenders at the side of the net just more than two minutes later, McCann skated into the slot and flipped the puck past Elliott to double Pittsburgh’s lead. The din from McCann’s goal had barely died down when Crosby’s drop pass to Simon gave him plenty of room to beat Elliott and give the Penguins their third goal in a span of 2:49.

Crosby’s assist gave him 100 points in 68 career games against the Flyers. By the end of the period, he pushed the total to 101 thanks to a pretty cross-ice pass from Simon that Crosby turned into his fifth goal of the season and 42nd all-time against Philadelphia. The score also capped Pittsburgh’s first four-goal first period since Dec. 17, 2011, against Buffalo.

Murray, given little to do while his teammates pounded Elliott early, made sure the cushion stood up. Only Lindblom’s goal 1:57 into the third prevented Murray from posting a second straight shutout.

“It was horrible,” Philadelphia center Sean Couturier said. “Embarrassing. We didn’t come out strong. They were ready. They gave it to us.”

Game notes
Philadelphia went 0 for 4 on the power play. The Penguins were 0 for 3. … The Flyers scratched D Samuel Morin. … Pittsburgh scratched D Chad Ruhwedel and Juuso Riikola and C Sam Lafferty. … Pittsburgh has allowed five even-strength goals in its last five games.

NEWARK, N.J. — This time, the Cheap Tampa Bay Lightning Jerseys eked out a victory.

Barely.

Tyler Johnson scored 1:16 into overtime and the Lightning rallied to beat the Cheap New Jersey Devils Jerseys 7-6 on Wednesday night, avoiding their first three-game losing streak since late March 2018.

“Did the game play out like we wanted in the end? Sure it did,” said Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper, who complained about his team taking too many penalties and losing momentum and rhythm time and again. “I was proud of the way the guys rallied to bail this out.”

Ondrej Palat scored twice for the banged-up Lightning, who surrendered a tying goal to Kyle Palmieri in the waning seconds. Alex Killorn, Brayden Point, Anthony Cirelli and Mathieu Joseph also scored, and Curtis McElhinney made 36 saves.

“Huge points but there’s still room for improvement,” said Palat, who had the primary assist on the game-winner. “We need to be better in our own zone, stop on pucks and win battles. There were too many chances we gave up, and we need to be better.”

Palmieri scored three goals and Jesper Bratt had two for the Devils. Sami Vatanen scored early in the third period for a 5-3 lead, and Cory Schneider had 16 saves.

“Look I mean I am probably not going to say a whole lot,” Schneider said. “My teammates played well enough to win. We deserved to win that game and scored six goals and should win going away. The difference tonight was in net so the game speaks for itself.”

Johnson’s fourth of the season came from the inside of the right circle after Ryan McDonagh had a chance in close.

“Mac and Palat made tremendous plays there,” Johnson said. “I kind of got lost in the slot and everyone was just kind of down and out and Ondrej made a great play to me and I was just able to put it in.”

It looked as if Tampa Bay was headed for a win in regulation when Palat broke a 5-all tie on a turnaround shot from the right circle with 3:57 left.

But Palmieri forced overtime by scoring on a rebound with 7.4 seconds to play. It was his first hat trick with New Jersey and the second of his career.

Palmieri, Bratt and Vatanen scored three straight goals to turn a 3-2 deficit into a 5-3 lead in the opening minute of the third period.

Playing their second game in as many nights, the Lightning found a way to tie the game at 5. Cirelli deflected a shot by defenseman Jan Rutta past Schneider at 2:45. Joseph tied it at 7:45 when his centering pass deflected into the net off the skate and stick of Devils forward Taylor Hall.

Hall was annoyed after the game with the Devils’ fans, saying he feels the team is battling its fans after a 2-5-3 start.

“We’re 1 for 3 on the power play and getting booed,” he said. “It’s a tied game and we are getting booed. That’s a tough environment to play in, especially when you are home. I know when we are playing somewhere and their fans start booing it’s a fun environment for the away team to play in. I understand the fans’ frustration. After the game if they are booing us losing that’s fine.”

Game notes
The Lightning played without F Pat Maroon, who got hurt during Tuesday night’s 4-1 loss to the Cheap New York Rangers Jerseys … Tampa Bay called up Fs Cory Conacher and Alexander Volkov and D Luke Schenn from the minors earlier in the day. Only Conacher was not in the lineup. Volkov, a 2017 draft choice, made his NHL debut. … Bratt was a healthy scratch in the Devils’ last game, Friday night against Arizona. … Palmieri’s other hat trick was with Anaheim.

With their top two running backs injured, the Cheap Arizona Cardinals Jerseys have acquired Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys running back Kenyan Drake for a conditional 2020 draft pick.‬

Miami will receive a 2020 sixth-round pick that can become a fifth-round pick if conditions are met, sources told ESPN.

Arizona will need Drake’s contributions in a hurry since David Johnson (ankle) and Chase Edmonds (hamstring) are dealing with injuries that will likely hold them out for at least Thursday night’s game against San Francisco.

To fill the open roster spot, the Dolphins activated defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche from the physically unable to perform list. Nkemdiche, who has recovered from his ACL injury, is eligible to play starting Monday night against the Cheap Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys.

Drake, the Dolphins’ leading rusher, did not travel with the team for it’s Monday night contest against the Steelers in anticipation of a trade. Multiple teams had called the Dolphins about Drake ahead of Tuesday’s Cheap NFL Jerseys trade deadline, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Barnwell’s NFL trade grades: Why are the Giants and Cardinals making win-now deals?

Why have NFL trades increased? Four reasons the deadline is no longer a dud
The speedy 25-year-old running back adds playmaking and dual-threat ability for a Cardinals team that’s 3-4-1 and hoping to stay in the playoff picture.

For the Dolphins (0-6), the move is about continuing to stockpile 2020 draft picks for what is expected to be an aggressive offseason for general manager Chris Grier.

Miami now has 13 picks in the 2020 draft, including three first-round picks, two second-round picks and two expected compensatory selections. Their own selection, which could be used to select a franchise quarterback, is projected to be first overall.

Dolphins fans will remember Drake most for his playmaking ability, most notably his touchdown in the “Miami Miracle” last December in which he outran a stumbling Rob Gronkowski for the game-winner against the Patriots as time expired. That remains the Dolphins’ most recent victory.

Drake, a 2016 third-round pick, is in his contract year, and there has been no progress on extension talks with the team this year. He was also recently supplanted by Mark Walton as the team’s lead back. It seemed clear that Drake didn’t have a long-term future in Miami, and both sides were prepared to move on.

Walton now should have the keys to the Dolphins’ backfield. The 2018 fourth-round pick is putting together a solid sophomore year after a rough rookie year combined with an offseason of legal issues.

The Dolphins are likely to give 2018 fourth-round pick Kalen Ballage, undrafted rookie back Patrick Laird and rookie seventh-round pick Myles Gaskin bigger reserve roles with Drake gone from the rotation.

Drake has 348 total yards this season (174 rushing, 174 receiving) and also could provide kick-return capabilities for the Cardinals if they want to use him in that way. But his most important immediate role will be manning the backfield while Johnson and Edmonds deal with injuries.

HOUSTON — For the third time in four years, the Cheap Houston Texans Jerseys will have to finish the season without pass rusher J.J. Watt.

Watt is a three-time Defensive Player of the Year and leads the NFL in sacks, pass breakups and forced fumbles since he was drafted in 2011. He’s a future Hall of Famer — likely the first in Texans history — and one of the most popular players in Houston’s locker room.

How Texans defensive end J.J. Watt ranks among defensive linemen since his NFL debut in 2011:

CATEGORY NO. RANK
Sacks 96 1st
Pass breakups 52 1st
Disrupted dropbacks 149 1st
Forced fumbles 23 1st
ESPN Stats & Information
After returning from a broken leg, Watt played at a high level in 2018, finishing second in the NFL with 16 sacks. He was making a big impact in 2019 as well. While Watt’s four sacks this season don’t even lead the team — outside linebacker Whitney Mercilus has 5.5 — Watt had a major impact. According to ESPN’s pass-rush win rate powered by NFL Next Gen Stats, Watt created the first pressure on 62 pass rushes. No other player had more than 49. And he did it while being double-teamed on 29.8% of his pass rushes as an edge rusher, which is the second-highest rate in the NFL this season.

It’s a safe bet Watt will come back in great shape from his pectoral injury — as he has from every season-ending injury — but it will be hard for the Texans to count on him staying healthy for a full 16-game season going forward. Watt has played more than eight games once since 2015. Can the Texans keep paying him more than $15 million a year, knowing that even if he comes back healthy, it is hard to depend on him as a building block of this defense?

While nobody is suggesting the Texans would cut Watt, after 2019 he does not have any guaranteed money remaining on the six-year deal he signed in 2014. His cap hits — $15.5 million in 2020 and $17.5 million in 2021 — are the highest on the team, and although the Texans have a lot of salary-cap space, Houston will likely need to spend a lot of money this offseason. The Texans didn’t re-sign Jadeveon Clowney, but quarterback Deshaun Watson and left tackle Laremy Tunsil are in line for huge deals, perhaps as soon as this offseason.

The Texans and Watt could work together to restructure Watt’s contract, extending him a season or two and adding guaranteed money to the deal while also lowering his salary and his cap hit.

While Watt has admitted in the past that he has contemplated retirement after suffering major injuries, he’s given no indication that was the case this time around. Watt is 30 years old, and if he wants to continue to play after his current contract expires in 2021, there will be plenty of suitors — either the Texans or another team.

While Watt will continue to be a leader and an important part of the Texans even when he can’t be on the field, Houston must again figure out how to replace the production of its highest-paid player.

The Dolphins have traded left tackle Laremy Tunsil, receiver Kenny Stills, defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick, linebacker Kiko Alonso and Drake over the past two months as part of the team’s extensive rebuild.

On Sunday, the Cardinals were also without running back D.J. Foster, who has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury. He was placed on injured reserve Monday.

Arizona signed running backs Zach Zenner and Alfred Morris on Wednesday to provide backup for Edmonds during practice. Zenner played just one offensive snap before Edmonds’ injury Sunday, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. He finished with 19 offensive snaps. Morris, however, was a healthy scratch.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys released kicker Mike Nugent on Tuesday, and a source told ESPN that they have agreed to terms with veteran Nick Folk to replace him.

The NFL Network first reported that Folk, who last kicked in the Cheap NFL Jerseys with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017, would be the choice.

Nugent’s release comes after a rain-soaked 27-13 win over the Cheap Cleveland Browns Jerseys on Sunday in which he missed a 34-yard field goal, and a 29-yarder was blocked. It was the first blocked field goal against the Patriots since 2006.

Nugent, 37, had been signed on Oct. 3 after the Patriots placed longtime kicker Stephen Gostkowski on season-ending injured reserve with a hip injury. Nugent appeared in four games, and was 5-of-8 on field goals and 15-of-16 on point-after attempts.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that receiver Brandin Cooks was en route to see a specialist in Pittsburgh after suffering his second concussion this month.

McVay said Cooks is “feeling good,” but that there is concern about the frequency in which the concussions are occurring, followed by how quickly Cooks feels asymptomatic. “What’s most important is Brandin Cooks the human being right now,” McVay said, “not necessarily the Cheap Football Jerseys player.”

Cooks was placed into concussion protocol following a Week 5 Thursday night loss to the Cheap Seattle Seahawks Jerseys, but was cleared to play in Week 6. He also was put into concussion protocol last Sunday, Week 8, against the Cheap Cincinnati Bengals Jerseyswhen he appeared to be involved in a helmet-to-helmet collision in the first quarter.

When asked how this could affect the rest of Cooks’ season, McVay said: “We just want to take it a day at a time… Any time that you have something like this occur, you want to consider the human being first and foremost and that’s what we’re going to do and we’ll take our time.”

A sixth-year pro, Cooks has suffered three known concussions prior to this season.

Last season, he was placed into protocol in Week 5 against the Seahawks, before he was cleared for Week 6. He also suffered a concussion in the 2018 Super Bowl as a member of the New England Patriots and in 2015 with the Cheap New Orleans Saints Jerseys.

After last season, Cooks, 26, signed a five-year, $81 million extension, with $50.5 million in guarantees, that runs through the 2023 season.

This season, Cooks has caught 27 passes for 402 yards and a touchdown.

The Rams have an open date this week before playing the Cheap Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys at Heinz Field in Week 10.

The Patriots are 8-0, but with the competition level of their schedule rising and the potential for closer games ahead, the instability at kicker is a potential concern for coach Bill Belichick, who has had the luxury of having Adam Vinatieri and Gostkowski as his two kickers over most of his 20-year tenure.

Folk, who also kicked for the Cheap Dallas Cowboys Jerseys (2007-2009) and Cheap New York Jets Jerseys (2010-2016), is 245-of-305 on field-goal attempts in his career. Earlier in 2019, he was the kicker for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football.

Since Gostkowski went on IR, the Patriots have brought in kickers to keep their emergency list updated. The group included veterans Folk, Blair Walsh, Giorgio Tavecchio and Kai Forbath, and younger options Greg Joseph, Austin MacGinnis, Austin Rehkow, Nick Rose, Matthew Wright, Josh Gable and Elliott Fry.

They had kicker Younghoe Koo on the practice squad for a couple of weeks, but later released him, and Koo signed with the Cheap Atlanta Falcons Jerseys on Tuesday after the club released veteran Matt Bryant.

The Patriots also released tight end Eric Tomlinson, who started two games and had one reception for one yard since being signed on Oct. 15.

PHOENIX — Donovan Mitchell would have loved to end the game with some sort of highlight-reel dunk or step-back 3-pointer that would be replayed over and over again on television for the next 24 hours.

But it wasn’t that kind of night for the Cheap Utah Jazz Jerseys.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Jamal Murray took the blame for another slow start by Denver’s offense and quickly pointed out how well the Nuggets have been playing defensively.

“Our defense has been our anchor,” Murray said. “It’s been what’s won us (games). Guys have to know we’re a defensive team first. We can all score. We can all shoot. But defense is clearly how to win games.”

Murray scored 14 points of his 18 points in the second half, including four in the final 31 seconds, Gary Harris added a pair of late free throws and the Nuggets held on after nearly blowing a big lead in the fourth quarter, beating the winless Cheap Sacramento Kings Jerseys 101-94 on Monday night.

The Nuggets (3-0) shook off a sluggish first half when they shot 17 of 52, took control in the third quarter with a stifling defense that repeatedly forced Sacramento into contested shots from the perimeter, then held off a late rally by the Kings to remain unbeaten.

“I challenged our guys to be a lot more physical and make them feel us,” Denver coach Mike Malone said. “We didn’t change our game plan. We just changed how hard and how physical we were playing. This was another night our offense struggled, but some guys stepped up and made big plays down the stretch.”

Harris scored 17 points as Denver won its fifth straight against Sacramento. Nikola Jokic had nine points on 4-for-15 shooting with 13 rebounds and Will Barton added 13 points and nine rebounds.

Denver led comfortably midway through the fourth quarter before Holmes scored five points as part of a 10-0 run that cut the Nuggets’ lead to 90-88.

Holmes later scored on a soaring one-handed dunk that made it 95-92, before Murray’s deep shot just inside the 3-point line. After Barnes scored on a putback, Harris and Murray each hit two free throws.

“I came out more aggressive,” said Murray, who missed five of his first six shots. “That’s something I have to change with myself from the jump. I can’t just kind of be a part of the offense. I have to be aggressive and create for guys. That’s what I did in the second half.”

Richaun Holmes had 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Kings (0-4). De’Aaron Fox added 20 points and nine assists, and Harrison Barnes and Nemanja Bjelica each scored 12.

First-year Sacramento coach Luke Walton felt his team made progress despite the loss, particularly defensively.

“That’s what we have to be,” Walton said. “That’s why we stress, and there was a point made, becoming a team that comes on defense so that when we have off shooting nights we still have a chance to win. We really played a competitive game and we stuck together.”

TIP-INS

Nuggets: Denver outscored Sacramento 30-17 in the third quarter. … Murray and Barton were a combined 2 of 12 in the first half when Denver shot 32.7% from the floor.

Kings: The last time Sacramento started 0-4 was in 2008-09, when Reggie Theus was the coach. … Trevor Ariza made three 3s in the first quarter. He went into the night 1 of 7 from beyond the arc. … Holmes was called for a technical for taunting after dunking against Denver’s Mason Plumlee. … Marvin Bagley III missed his second consecutive game with a broken thumb. Harry Giles (left knee soreness) was also held out.

THIRD-QUARTER BLUES

The Kings have been outscored by 10 or more in the third quarter of every game so far this season. “I think it’s still a focus thing,” Holmes said. “We have to come in and just lock in, lock in to what we’re doing and lock in fast.”

QUOTABLE

“This was a mature win. They were hungry, they played with a lot of energy. And we matched that energy and we finished the deal.” — Denver’s Mason Plumlee.
A physical drive, a drawn foul and a clutch free throw would have to do.

Mitchell scored 25 points, including the game-winning foul shot with 0.4 seconds left, and the Jazz rallied to beat the Cheap Phoenix Suns Jerseys 96-95 on Monday.

“It’s me just attacking, coming downhill,” Mitchell said. “(Jevon) Carter was a great defender all game, but I just made a move and tried to get to the free throw line. I didn’t do that much in the second half, but I did on the final play.”

Mitchell took the ball in the backcourt in the final seconds and then drove through the lane past Carter, getting fouled by Devin Booker as he tried to make a layup. Mitchell sank the first free throw before missing the second, and Frank Kaminsky III’s last-second heave was well short.

Bojan Bogdanovic led the Jazz with 29 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 4 for 8 from 3-point range. Rudy Gobert had 15 points and 18 rebounds and made 11 of 12 free throws.

Utah won despite shooting just 38 percent from the field and committing 23 turnovers. The Jazz made up for it with good defense, especially in the final minutes.

“We didn’t put our heads down after those mistakes. Got back and really worked to get stops,” coach Quin Snyder said. “When you do that, you have a chance. We had some really big plays down the stretch.”

The teams were tied at 70 heading into the fourth quarter before the Suns pushed ahead with five straight points. The game was tied again when Bogdanovic scored on a fast-break layup and was fouled with 1:45 left. He made the free throw to give the Jazz a 95-92 lead.

Phoenix (2-2) was led by Booker’s 21 points. Kelly Oubre Jr. added 18 and Carter had 15, including a 3-pointer that tied it at 95 with less than a minute left.

Aron Baynes scored 12 for the Suns, including a career-high three 3-pointers. He made just 25 shots from beyond the arc in his first seven seasons, including 21 last year.

Ricky Rubio faced Utah (3-1) for the first time since signing a free-agent deal with the Suns in the offseason. He finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

“I like how in the tough moments we get together and play with passion,” Rubio said. “The only difference not making the playoffs or making it is winning these kinds of games. I know we are young, we are learning, but we have to close out.”

Both teams struggled to make shots in the first half as the Jazz built a 46-39 lead. Bogdanovic led Utah with 14 points.

MORE THAN 0.4 SECONDS?

Phoenix coach Monty Williams thought Mitchell got fouled with 1.8 seconds left instead of 0.4, which made it nearly impossible to get a last-second shot toward the rim. The call was not reviewed.

Williams said that was frustrating, but it wasn’t his team’s biggest problem.

“That is a tough one to swallow but that wasn’t the reason we lost,” he said. “Our ball movement was stagnant tonight.”
