ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys cornerback De’Vante Bausby, who was taken off the field Sunday on a backboard after colliding with a teammate, said Tuesday he “couldn’t move” for 30 minutes after the hit, but he hopes to return to the field as soon as possible.

“Strengthen my [neck] muscles again and I’ll be good to go,” Bausby said.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk is expected to miss four to six weeks due to a sprained left medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

The Niners announced the injury and time frame on Tuesday afternoon, less than 24 hours after Juszczyk suffered the injury in a 31-3 win against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. Because the injury isn’t expected to last as long as eight weeks, Juszczyk will avoid joining the injured reserve list with hopes of returning sooner than later.

With a little more than three minutes remaining in the third quarter, Juszczyk was blocking on a run play when he and Browns safety Jermaine Whitehead collided. Juszczyk lost his footing as Whitehead undercut him, and he landed awkwardly on his left knee. He was able to hobble to the sideline before a cart took him to the locker room, ending his night.

After the game, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan indicated he thought it was a sprain rather than a serious, season-ending type of knee injury. Juszczyk told ESPN in the locker room that he wasn’t yet sure of the severity but that he would have an MRI on Tuesday morning.

The additional tests confirmed the Niners’ initial suspicions, leaving the team without an integral part of its offense for at least the next month. It’s a big blow to an offense that ranks fourth in the league in yards per game (427.3) and yards per play (6.28), first in rushing yards per game (200) and second in points per game (31.8).

Juszcyk said via Twitter on Tuesday that he will be back soon.

“Obviously, Juice is a vital part to our offense and especially our running game,” right tackle Mike McGlinchey said. “But we have a lot of guys that are capable of playing that position. All three of our other tight ends, including George Kittle, can do it if he’s required to. But Juice is a mainstay in our offense. He’s tied in with the five of us up front, six of us including George, and we don’t go without him. Hopefully we can pick up the slack here coming up in the next week if he is out. But he is huge for us. He makes plays all over the field. He’s the unsung hero. Other than the couple times he gets to catch a pass, he’s got an O-line mindset.”

Juszczyk is the only fullback on the roster as Shanahan has previously said he values having a versatile player like Juszczyk more than just having a fullback. So far this season, Juszczyk has lined up split wide (4 percent of snaps), in the slot (6 percent), tight to the formation on the line of scrimmage (16 percent) and in the backfield (74 percent).

Through four weeks, the 49ers have used two running backs more than any other team, with two backs on the field 51.5 percent of the time.

Those personnel groupings have come with plenty of success as San Francisco has averaged 7.3 yards per play, scored nine touchdowns, averaged 11.8 yards per pass attempt and picked up 13.8 first downs per game with two backs on the field, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

In Juszczyk’s absence, it’s unlikely the Niners will look to add a fullback because there are none on the market who can do everything Juszczyk does. Without Juszczyk, the Niners are likely to turn to tight ends Kittle, Ross Dwelley and Levine Toilolo to fill the void on a more regular basis or to go without a fullback more than they have through the first four games.

Juszczyk’s injury is the latest in a string of bad luck in which the Cheap San Francisco 49ers Jerseys have lost a starter to injury for at least a pair of contests in each of their four games. Running back Tevin Coleman sprained his ankle in the opener against Tampa Bay and returned after missing two games. Left tackle Joe Staley (broken fibula) and cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon (sprained foot) are also out for extended time due to injuries suffered in Weeks 2 and 3, respectively.

Asked if he was nervous or afraid after the collision, Bausby said: “Little bit. … I was never unconscious. I just couldn’t move, but I was still talking and everything. The doc, the neurologist said I was going to be fine and I just trusted that, and after about 30 minutes I was able to wiggle my toes and after a couple hours I was able to regain full mobility, so I was straight, I was fine. … They said I was paralyzed for 30 minutes; after 30 minutes I could wiggle my toes and after two hours I could move everything else.”

Bausby was motionless on the field after he tackled Cheap Los Angeles Chargers Jerseys running back Austin Ekeler with 14:51 remaining in the second quarter. On the play, as Bausby was making contact with Ekeler, Broncos linebacker Alexander Johnson plowed into Bausby.

The Broncos’ medical staff removed the face mask from Bausby’s helmet, stabilized his neck and strapped him to the backboard. He was taken to the Los Angeles Trauma Center.

There, Bausby underwent several tests, including multiple MRI exams before he was discharged from the hospital and returned to Denver on the Broncos’ chartered flight.

ALAMEDA, Calif. — While Cheap Oakland Raiders Jerseys coach Jon Gruden would not speculate on whether his brother Jay might join his staff after being fired by the Cheap Washington Redskins Jerseys on Monday, the elder Gruden did stick up for his younger brother.

And he did so with a nod and a wink.

“I’m obviously very disappointed for my brother,” Gruden said Tuesday during his weekly media conference. “It was a long night, last couple of nights. He worked hard. Got a lot of respect for my brother. Obviously, disappointed for him getting fired.”

But …

“My dad’s been fired,” Gruden added. “I’ve been fired. Jay’s been fired and … welcome to the club, bro.”

Gruden, who was traded from Oakland to the Cheap Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys in 2001, founded his somewhat satirical Fired Football Coaches Association when he was dismissed by the Bucs in 2008. He spent the next nine seasons in ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” booth before returning to the Raiders last year.

Meanwhile, Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys coach Sean McVay, a former Redskins offensive coordinator under Jay Gruden who got his first Cheap NFL Jerseys job on the Tampa Bay staff with Jon, said he exchanged texts with Jay Gruden on Monday and called it a “tough situation” for a close friend.

McVay worked with Jay Gruden for the Florida Tuskers of the UFL in 2009 and with Washington from 2014 to ’16.

“When I was his coordinator, in a lot of ways he kind of groomed me and brought me along to where you kind of learn some of the things about how you’re setting up a game plan,” McVay said of Jay Gruden. “He protected me from a lot of the things.”

McVay was asked whether he’d consider adding Jay Gruden to his staff.

“He’ll have a lot of options,” McVay said. “Those are things that I think we’ll, I’m sure, discuss at some point. But right now it’s more about just reaching out to a buddy and seeing how he’s doing.”

With consecutive wins at the Cheap Indianapolis Colts Jerseys and in London against the Cheap Chicago Bears Jerseys, Jon Gruden gave the Raiders (3-2) the entire bye week off, except one player — wide receiver Zay Jones, who was officially acquired in a trade with the Cheap Buffalo Bills Jerseys on Tuesday.

“I’m gonna teach Zay Jones some plays today,” a smiling Gruden said when asked how he was going to spend his bye week. “And I’m gonna come in tomorrow and teach Zay Jones some more plays.”

Gruden opened his presser Tuesday by acknowledging the eighth anniversary of Al Davis’ passing — which occurred Oct. 8, 2011.

“My respects go out to the Davis family,” Gruden said. “And I know if Al Davis was still here, he would have been proud of our team, the way they’ve played the last couple of weeks.”

“I was just happy [to return with the team],” Bausby said. “… Los Angeles Trauma Center, I was ready to get up out of there, happy to rejoin my team on the plane ride back here. … I was just calm, and I just trusted what the doc was saying.”

Monday, Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Bausby had a “compression” injury, that there was “no timetable” for Bausby’s return and “he’ll definitely miss some time; don’t know if he’ll miss the rest of the season or not. These things, the first few days, and week, will tell the story.”

For the time being, the Broncos placed Bausby on injured reserve and signed veteran cornerback Coty Sensabaugh in a corresponding move. By rule, Bausby has to miss at least eight weeks and each team can only activate two players from IR, but Bausby is still hoping to play this season.

“Right now, we’re just going to take it real slow, gain my strength back and all that mess,” Bausby said before the decision to place him on IR. “I don’t have a timetable, but hopefully pretty soon. My plan is to come back and play [this season], though.”

The fourth-year cornerback, who has been waived nine times in his NFL career and spent last season in the Alliance of American Cheap Football JerseysOakland Raiders, signed with the Broncos shortly after the AAF shut down. He has battled his way up the depth chart and has made two starts this season, including Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

He has 12 tackles and has knocked down three passes.

TAMPA, Fla. — The Cheap NFL Jerseys has fined Cheap Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys starting left tackle Donovan Smith $28,075 for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys cornerback Marcus Peters, a league source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Friday.

The hit came Sunday after quarterback Jameis Winston’s pass was intercepted and returned for a touchdown by Peters, who brought the Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys within one score in the fourth quarter. The Bucs ultimately won 55-40.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys won’t be able to go to Davante Adams for any last-minute heroics this time against the Cheap Dallas Cowboys Jerseys.

The Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys on Friday ruled out their Pro Bowl receiver for Sunday’s road game.

Two years ago, when Adams’ status was in doubt until the eve of the game at Cheap Dallas Cowboys Jerseys because of a concussion, he not only played but scored two touchdowns — including the winner with 11 seconds left.

Adams, 26, did not practice this week because of the turf-toe injury he suffered in Week 4 against the Eagles. Even the extra few days because that game was on a Thursday night didn’t help Adams. First-year coach Matt LaFleur could have listed Adams as questionable or doubtful but decided not to wait.

“If he can’t go, it will say he’s out,” LaFleur said Friday before the injury report was released.

Before his early fourth-quarter injury, Adams caught 10 passes for a career-high 180 yards against the Eagles, but the Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys offense stumbled without him, failing on two drives that advanced inside Philadelphia’s 5-yard line. Without Adams, the Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys failed on four tries from the Eagles’ 1-yard line on the first of those drives, and then Aaron Rodgers threw an interception from the 3 to essentially end the game.

The Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys (3-1) also will be without backup running back Jamaal Williams, who remained in the concussion protocol after getting knocked out of the game against Philadelphia.

Without two key offensive weapons, the Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys might have to rely even more on running back Aaron Jones. The third-year pro had a 100-yard game in Week 2 against the Vikings (23 carries, 116 yards) but hasn’t topped 39 yards in any of the other three games.

His first career 100-yard game came at Cheap Dallas Cowboys Jerseys as a rookie in 2017, when he rushed for 125 yards on 16 carries and outgained Ezekiel Elliott (116 yards, 25 carries).

“I definitely think I can go toe-to-toe with him,” Jones told ESPN this week. “I feel like that’s something I did a couple of years back in Cheap Dallas Cowboys Jerseys when not a lot of people knew me. That was my first start. I definitely think I can go toe-to-toe. I’m excited to be in the same stadium and to compete against him.”

Two defensive contributors — starting cornerback Kevin King (groin) and backup Tony Brown (hamstring) — also missed the entire week of practice. Brown was ruled out and King was listed as doubtful.

Smith, who is 6-foot-6 and 338 pounds, laid into the 6-foot, 195-pound Peters as he crossed the goal line. Officials did not throw a flag on the play, but Peters was evaluated for a concussion and did not return to the game.

Peters passed his initial evaluation and did not enter the concussion protocol, but was placed on the injury report with a facial injury.

This is the first time Smith has been fined by the Cheap NFL Jerseys, which considers repeated violations when determining discipline.

The Cheap NFL Jerseys has informed Cheap Oakland Raiders Jerseys linebacker Vontaze Burfict that he hit another defenseless Cheap Indianapolis Colts Jerseys player in Sunday’s game, agent Lamont Smith told ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

Smith said Burfict was notified by letter Thursday about the unflagged hit, three days after the league suspended him for the rest of the season for repeated violations of unnecessary roughness rules.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys outside linebacker Clay Matthews will be sidelined for an extended period because of a broken jaw suffered in a 30-29 loss to the Cheap Seattle Seahawks Jerseys, Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys coach Sean McVay said Friday.

“That’s not good for us,” McVay said. “That’s a big injury.”

Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys receiver Brandin Cooks also has been placed into concussion protocol after he left the game in the fourth quarter Thursday night. McVay said Friday that Cooks was asymptomatic.

Matthews declined a postgame interview Thursday night, citing a sore jaw. McVay said he would undergo surgery and that he was uncertain for how long Matthews would be out.

“I know it’s going to be at least a month,” McVay said.

McVay said Matthews was kicked in the jaw by Cheap Seattle Seahawks Jerseys running back Chris Carson on a tackle near the end of the game.

“It was a physical game,” McVay said.

Matthews finished with a sack and four tackles. He also drew a penalty in the fourth quarter for roughing quarterback Russell Wilson.

Outside linebacker Samson Ebukam replaced Matthews and will take over as the starter in his absence. A third-year pro, Ebukam started last season and had three sacks and three forced fumbles.

The Cheap Los Angeles Rams Jerseys signed Matthews, an 11th-year pro, to a two-year, $9.25 million contract over the offseason. In five games, he has six sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass deflection.

“It’s going to be a big loss,” McVay said.

Vindictiveness, validation and what-ifs: The two sides of the Khalil Mack trade
Burfict was ejected in the second quarter of Sunday’s game for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Cheap Indianapolis Colts Jerseys tight end Jack Doyle. The suspension, which would see him miss the final 12 games of the season, is the longest ever in the Cheap NFL Jerseys for an on-field incident.

Smith also told ESPN the Cheap NFL Jerseys said it would include the unflagged hit among the totality of Burfict’s offenses under his appeal of the suspension. His appeal will be conducted by teleconference on Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET.

The 29-year-old Burfict received 13 suspensions and fines in seven seasons with the Cheap Cincinnati Bengals Jerseys before signing with the Cheap Oakland Raiders Jerseys as a free agent this offseason. Two of the suspensions were for illegal hits, totaling six games. He successfully appealed a five-game suspension in 2017 down to a three-game suspension.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After three weeks, Joe Flacco is already in a fairly exclusive club — just not the kind the DCheap Denver Broncos Jerseys want to see him in.

Flacco is one of just six quarterbacks to have been sacked at least 10 times this season. His 11 sacks — including six in last Sunday’s loss at Green Bay — put him in the company of Marcus Mariota (sacked 17 times), Kyler Murray (16 times), Deshaun Watson (12 times), Andy Dalton (11 times) and Baker Mayfield (11 times).

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — First-year inside linebackers coach Jerod Mayo has taken a leading role on the Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys defensive staff, helping to fill the void created when Greg Schiano resigned in March, but there’s still no question who is ultimately in charge of the Cheap NFL Jerseys No. 1-ranked unit.

“We have the benefit of having Coach Belichick in the room with us each and every day,” Mayo said, noting that Bill Belichick’s presence is critical, “especially having a young coaching staff.”

Chris Berman and Tom Jackson recap the weekend’s games with extended highlights and analysis.

The show will stream live at 7:30 p.m. ET each Sunday during the 2019 season and will be available on demand each week until late Wednesday night.

Belichick’s defensive acumen is well-documented, with his Super Bowl XXV game plan as Cheap New York Giants Jerseys defensive coordinator having its own place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

That expertise has helped soften the blow of a situation that might have crippled another team. When 2018 defensive playcaller Brian Flores left to become coach of the Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys in the offseason, and then Schiano unexpectedly stepped down, Belichick acknowledged he would have more oversight on defense this season.

The results, albeit against struggling teams — the Cheap Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys, Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys and Cheap New York Jets Jerseys are all winless — have been sizzling.

According to Elias research, the Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys are the only team since 1945 not to allow a touchdown from the line of scrimmage through their first three games.

With Jerod Mayo and Bill Belichick leading the way, New England’s defense has allowed just three points this season. Photo by Fred Kfoury III/Icon Sportswire
The three points allowed by their defense are by far the fewest through three games in the Super Bowl era (the previous mark was 12, most recently by the 2004 Cheap Seattle Seahawks Jerseys).

And opponents have a 12.8% conversion rate on third down, which is the lowest allowed through three games by any defense in the past 40 seasons, according to Elias data.

The Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys will be tested Sunday on the road against the 3-0 Cheap Buffalo Bills Jerseys (1 p.m. ET, CBS), but so much for the thought that the 67-year-old Belichick, who lost three assistants on defense from the 2018 staff, might find himself spread too thin.

“We have a lot of good coaches on our staff. I have a lot of confidence in them. They do a great job, they work hard, they’re well prepared,” Belichick said this week. “I’d say the interactions are something that we’ve grown through in the offseason and training camp. It’s gone well.”

Belichick’s expanded oversight on defense is a topic he has been reluctant to expound upon this season, right there alongside injuries. He also seemed to previously instruct coaches not to get into detail about it.

But those familiar with what is unfolding on game day say Belichick is in charge of calling the defense, with Mayo helping relay in the call to players. Safeties coach Steve Belichick also is involved in the communication.

What seems important to all involved is to stress the collaborative nature of contributing to the game plan, with everyone doing their part, which includes former Arkansas coach Bret Bielema (defensive line), DeMarcus Covington (outside linebackers), Joe Kim (director of skill development), Mike Pellegrino (cornerbacks) and coaching assistants Brian Belichick and Bob Fraser.

With no coach officially listed as coordinator, Bill Belichick is closest to it.

“He is the head guy and lets everyone know what it’s all about, who to look for, and give everyone the points they should focus on,” fourth-year defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. said of Belichick. “He gives the pointers, and the guys go back in there and hit the points — and get really detailed with every point.”

Linebacker Elandon Roberts, one of the team’s captains, offered his take.

“Of course, everybody knows Bill’s involved the whole way with the defense,” Roberts said. “I feel like he’s always been involved heavily in the defense, but he also has a lot to do as a head coach. From the same standpoint, it’s a collective group. We all come together and we all say, ‘Let’s try this, let’s try more of that and see how it works.’ Then come Sunday, we’re able to put it all together.”

Specific to the 33-year-old Mayo, veteran defensive end Michael Bennett joked that it’s unusual having a coach in a top role who is the same age as him.

Defenders also have said that Mayo’s history with the Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys — from having been a 2008 first-round pick who played through the 2015 season — has added a helpful perspective. That has carried over to the coaching staff, as well.

“His experience as a player in our system is very valuable,” Belichick said. “We can talk about calls that we can make on the field, or identifications and so forth, and his perspective of, ‘Yeah, that’s no problem, that’d be easy for us to do or that’s a lot harder’ — it makes us rethink and have that perspective of how easy it is or isn’t for a player in certain situations.

“He’s done it, and he’s done it under pressure and dealt with a lot of things we currently deal with, and so that’s a good perspective to have in the room. We don’t have that from anybody else defensively.”

Chris Berman and Tom Jackson recap the weekend’s games with extended highlights and analysis.

The show will stream live at 7:30 p.m. ET each Sunday during the 2019 season and will be available on demand each week until late Wednesday night.

Those six quarterbacks play for teams that are a combined 4-13-1, and two of them are winless (Cincinnati and Denver). Only Watson plays for a team with a winning record (Texans are 2-1).

“There was definitely a few of those [sacks] where he held on to it for a long time. There’s only so much time you can hold it back there, and Joe’s got to do a better job of getting it out quicker,” coach Vic Fangio said in the wake of the rainy loss at Lambeau Field. “The [wide receivers'] routes have to be run crisper. Everything’s got to be better; it’s not just that he’s holding it. Maybe he’s holding it for other reasons, too. I thought our line, for how many passes we ended up throwing, blocked pretty good.”

Flacco is on pace to be sacked 59 times, which would be the most of his career, surpassing the 48 times he was taken down in 2013.

While the Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys offensive line, left tackle Garett Bolles in particular, has taken much of the public criticism for how things have gone thus far, Fangio already this week has echoed his point from Sunday, saying the line was not the biggest problem in Green Bay.

“Every [sack] is a little different,” Fangio said. “… We’ve had had a fair amount of sacks, but I don’t think it’s indicative of the way our offensive line has been playing. … Overall, I think the offensive line has not been perfect, but has done a pretty decent job.”

Wherever the blame lies — with Flacco, the receivers or the linemen — it is an immediate concern for the Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys given they face the Cheap Jacksonville Jaguars Jerseys on Sunday. The Cheap Jacksonville Jaguars Jerseys are tied for the league lead in sacks — with the Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys — with 13. In the first four games of the season, the Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys will have faced the teams that are currently first, tied for third (Green Bay) and fifth (Chicago) in sacks.

The Cheap Jacksonville Jaguars Jerseys sacked Mariota nine times in Week 3 and got Watson four times in Week 2. On the positive side of the ledger for the Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys: Cheap Jacksonville Jaguars Jerseys Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who has asked to be traded, missed practice time this week with what was designated as a back injury. He is not expected to play against the Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys. Ramsey’s absence could influence how aggressive the Cheap Jacksonville Jaguars Jerseys are in the pass rush.

Protecting Flacco is not a short-term problem, though. The Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys will face the Browns, Vikings, Texans and Lions in the weeks to come and all of them are among the league’s top 10 in sacks.

Protecting Flacco is paramount to the team’s desire for more downfield passing. The Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys have just two pass plays of more than 30 yards in the past two games games combined.

“We’ve got to play assignment Cheap Football Jerseys a little better so we can create some opportunities for ourselves,” said Flacco, who has included himself in that directive. “… We haven’t really pushed the ball deep down the field with some actual length of throws yet, but we’re getting there. We’ve got to hold up; everybody’s got to do their job. When you’re trying to get those throws, it takes 11 guys.”

Ten of the 11 sacks allowed by the Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys have come in their three-receiver look, and six of the 11 have been out of the shotgun.

“We’ve played some really tough games, and we haven’t come out with the wins, but we’re getting there,” Flacco said. “We’ve just got to make it happen. There’s definitely a sense of urgency [that] it has to happen now.”

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Cheap Baltimore Ravens Jerseys quarterback Lamar Jackson has reached a historic level with mistake-free Cheap Football Jerseys.

Just don’t ask anyone in the Cheap Baltimore Ravens Jerseys organization about it. Like not talking about a no-hitter during a no-hitter, they don’t want to invite bad luck.

Jackson’s string of avoiding an interception in 221 straight regular-season pass attempts is the longest current streak in the Cheap NFL Jerseys and the best in the Cheap Baltimore Ravens Jerseys 24-year history.

It also has given him a unique distinction. Jackson has the lowest interception rate in league history (1.1 percent) among quarterbacks with at least 250 attempts.

What has been the key to Jackson not getting picked off?

“Is that something we’re allowed to talk about?” said Cheap Baltimore Ravens Jerseys coach John Harbaugh, alluding to the bad luck that comes with mentioning it.

Why does Jackson think he’s so good at keeping the ball away from defenses?

“Don’t jinx me, dog,” he said. “I don’t want to get jinxed.”

Superstitions aside, Jackson’s interception-free stretch goes against the trend for young quarterbacks and traces nearly back to the time when he took over for the injured Joe Flacco around midseason last year.

Jackson threw three interceptions in his first two Cheap NFL Jerseys starts but hasn’t thrown a regular-season pick since. The last time Jackson was intercepted in the regular season was Nov. 25, 2018, when Cheap Oakland Raiders Jerseys safety Marcus Gilchrist (who is now out of the league) pulled in a tipped pass deep downfield.

By Sunday’s game against the Cheap Cleveland Browns Jerseys, he will have gone eight regular-season games, 511 playing minutes and 308 days without an interception. Over that stretch, 53 quarterbacks have thrown at least one interception, including an NFL-worst 12 by Cheap Cleveland Browns Jerseys quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Those who talked about Jackson’s prowess for staying away from interceptions believe it’s the result of vision, patience and his legs.

Offensive coordinator Greg Roman noticed by the second week of practice during Jackson’s rookie season that the young quarterback saw the field much like Steve McNair. Both had the uncanny ability to immediately see the open receiver even if it wasn’t part of their read progressions.

“I just think he has good natural field vision, which is hard to coach,” Roman said. “We felt this way about him since last year, that he just saw the field well — his depth perception, spatial relationships, just seeing guys, seeing different leverages out there. Some guys have it.”

It’s unusual to see so few mistakes from a quarterback this early in his career.

Here is a look at the career interception total and rate for all five quarterbacks taken in the first round last year:

Jackson (three interceptions): 1.1 percent

Mayfield (19 interceptions): 3.2 percent

Sam Darnold (Cheap New York Jets Jerseys) (15 interceptions): 3.3 percent

Josh Allen (Cheap Buffalo Bills Jerseys) (15 interceptions): 3.5 percent

Josh Rosen (Cheap Arizona Cardinals Jerseys; Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys) (16 interceptions): 3.5 percent

Many young quarterbacks play at a frenetic pace. Tight end Hayden Hurst has been impressed with how Jackson is patient in going through the progressions and letting the play develop.

“He doesn’t put pressure on himself. He stays loose,” Hurst said. “If something doesn’t work, he’s able to improvise.”

Wide receiver Willie Snead IV, who knocked on the wood of his locker when asked about Jackson’s streak, feels Jackson’s ability to run helps him cut down on interceptions.

DAVIE, Fla. — The Josh Rosen era is upon us — for however long it might last — and his evaluation goes beyond wins and losses.

It’s clear the Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys (0-3) won’t win many (any?) games in 2019, but Rosen has shown tiny glimpses of what he will provide to the team for at least these next 13 games: Increased offensive aggression.

For a team that has scored only 16 points and one offensive touchdown in three games, big-play aggression can add some excitement to a winless season thus far.

“It’s all about taking calculated risks. You never want to chuck up a pick,” Rosen said. “But in certain situations, you definitely want to push it down the field. I thought I did a pretty good job in terms of aggression.”

The Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys have an aggression goal they set every week. It is based on how they want to tempo a game, how many deep shots they want to take and how their playcalling keeps defenses guessing. Even though the Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys lost their Week 3 game at Dallas, 31-6, Rosen and the team hit their aggression goal mark.

Despite completing less than 50 percent of his passes and failing to score an offensive touchdown, Rosen put together the Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys best quarterback performance this season against the Cowboys. He came out early with big downfield shots in the first quarter. It started with a 40-yard deep ball to DeVante Parker, who made an acrobatic catch to bring it in, then a creative flea flicker call by offensive coordinator Chad O’Shea, which led Rosen to hit Preston Williams for a 24-yard reception.

Rosen didn’t hesitate to feed his rookie receiver chances, shown by Williams’ team-high 12 targets on Sunday.

“Good mentality, strong arm and a playmaker,” Williams said of Rosen. “It’s great to see Josh come in and do his thing. I’m excited for what’s next. … We’re going to start scoring touchdowns real soon.”

Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys players said they noticed Rosen’s increased aggression and encouraged it. Running back Kenyan Drake said Rosen has the “respect of everyone in the huddle,” and “once he gets going, he’s a ball player.” Running back Kalen Ballage said Rosen “wasn’t fazed” by the road atmosphere or pressure surrounding his first start for the Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys. They all noticed Rosen didn’t play scared.

“When he throws those 50-50 balls down there, it helps us tremendously because if one of those hits, we are 40-50 yards down the field with the defense on their heels,” left tackle Jesse Davis said. “We want him to continue throwing those.”

Chris Berman and Tom Jackson recap the weekend’s games with extended highlights and analysis.

The show will stream live at 7:30 p.m. ET each Sunday during the 2019 season and will be available on demand each week until late Wednesday night. Watch on ESPN+

Both of those first-quarter plays led to scoring opportunities — a missed field goal attempt and then a short made field goal when the Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys stalled out in the red zone. The latter sequence showed another example of Rosen’s aggression. When coach Brian Flores called for the field goal team on fourth-and-goal from the Dallas 3, Rosen looked toward the sideline somewhat disheartened, trying to make a plea for Flores to go for it. Flores loved Rosen’s competitiveness but decided it wasn’t the right call at that time, and Jason Sanders nailed the 22-yard field goal.

“I didn’t want to step off the field. I’m a quarterback and very competitive,” Rosen said. “If I had a little more say, I would have loved to ‘Peyton-Manning’ed’ it and waved them off and call the play, but we’re not there, yet.”

Rosen laughed as he made the Manning reference. You can see the young quarterback’s confidence even when little has gone smoothly so far in his NFL career. He has become more comfortable taking a leadership role, including delivering words of encouragement to disappointed teammates following blowout losses.

“Sometimes when the game is getting a little out of hand, you want to reign everybody’s focus and be like ‘let’s just play good football that we are proud of. This is still a game. Let’s have fun. Smile,’” Rosen said. “If you grab someone’s shoulder pads and they’re pissed off and you make them smile before they leave, it always works a little bit.”

Next up is a game against the Cheap Los Angeles Chargers Jerseys on Sunday (1 p.m. ET, CBS) and it will be another chance for Rosen to use his aggression to spark the Cheap Miami Dolphins Jerseys stagnant offense.

“I think his thing is making better decisions and knowing he doesn’t have to force a throw,” Snead said. “He can take off and scramble. He has a quality that a lot of quarterbacks don’t have. Guys can’t escape that quick. Why throw an ill-advised pass when you can get out of the pocket and get a scramble play or take off. In his mind, I’m not going to take that risk.”

Jackson hates throwing interceptions with a passion, which probably goes back to his college days. His first collegiate pass was picked off by Auburn.

Though Jackson has quickly shown a knack for not getting picked off in the Cheap NFL Jerseys, his biggest improvement has been ball security. He hasn’t fumbled this season after coughing it up an NFL-worst 10 times in seven starts last season.

Jackson’s error-free play is the biggest reason why Baltimore is the only Cheap NFL Jerseys team to not turn the ball over this season.

“Lamar improves very rapidly and very quickly,” Harbaugh said. “He really has a real narrow focus on the things he can do better.”

Antonio Brown says he won’t play in the Cheap NFL Jerseys anymore and took shots at Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys owner Robert Kraft and Cheap Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in a series of tweets sent Sunday morning.

Brown appeared to be referencing the $29.125 million in guaranteed money from the Cheap Oakland Raiders Jerseys and $9 million signing bonus from the Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys that, sources told ESPN, have both been rescinded.

The Cheap Oakland Raiders Jerseys guaranteed money was voided after the team fined him for detrimental conduct before his release on Sept. 7, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys are planning to withhold the signing bonus based on a representation warranty clause that calls for a player to disclose any situations that might prevent continued availability, a source with knowledge of the situation told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Brown is being sued by former trainer Britney Taylor over multiple allegations of sexual assault. He was also accused of sexual misconduct by an artist in a story published by Sports Illustrated last week.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — With their 27-16 loss to the Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys on Sunday, the Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys have opened a season 0-3 for the first time since 1999, the year after John Elway called it a career as a Hall of Fame quarterback.

“Times are rough around here, obviously, the past few years, it’s been tough,” wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders said. “We’re trying to get it right, right now we’re 0-3, living in a world of suck. Cheap Football Jerseys is still fun, but not as much fun when you’re losing.”

The Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys have missed the playoffs in each of the previous three seasons, finishing below .500 at 5-11 and 6-10 in the past two seasons.

Week 3 Cheap NFL Jerseys takeaways: Fast starts by Chiefs, Pats, Cowboys
This recent losing stretch is unfamiliar for a franchise that spent more than the past three decades with as many Super Bowl trips (seven) as losing seasons on its résumé, and still has a smattering of players, including Sanders and linebacker Von Miller, who were on the roster during the Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys recent five-year run of five consecutive AFC West titles, two Super Bowl trips and a Super Bowl 50 win.

“We’re 0-3, that’s our record, that’s a fact,” first-year coach Vic Fangio said Sunday. “I do see a lot of good out there, [but] not enough. We’re not doing enough good things that the good teams that win do. Which is protect the ball … we’re not getting the ball turned over [on defense] … and we’re not playing good enough defense.”

“This is tough, I never like to lose, even when I was a little kid,” Miller said. “This is a rough patch for us, we got to find a way to get over this hump … we’ve just got to find a way to get it done. … I’ve been on some teams before when it was like, man, you felt like you couldn’t do nothing right, feel like missing this, missing that. I don’t feel like we’re missing anything.”

The Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys are missing sacks, forced turnovers by their defense and wins.

Sunday’s loss, their 14th in the past 18 road games, provided a tidy little view into all of the problem areas. The Cheap Denver Broncos Jerseys turned the ball over four times, forced no Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys turnovers, allowed quarterback Joe Flacco to be sacked six times, didn’t sack Cheap Green Bay Packers Jerseys quarterback Aaron Rodgers and missed an extra point.

Asked whether the team was capable of bouncing back from an already imposing hole, Sanders said simply: “I hope so, I hope so. I can’t say we are. Obviously it’s week by week, I know that, I understand that.”

“We got to come to work. It’s your job,” linebacker Todd Davis said. “You’ve got to come to work, you’ve got to be ready to play. It’s your job.”

Had Brown not sent intimidating group text messages to the artist who accused him of unwanted sexual advances, the star wide receiver would be playing in the Patriots’ game Sunday against the Jets, league sources told Schefter.

When Brown sent those text messages as a member of the Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys — he was not with New England during the time period when he allegedly sexually assaulted another woman — the organization felt as if it had to move on from him.

Brown called on the Cheap NFL Jerseys Players Association to hold teams accountable and get him the money he apparently is still seeking. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported that Brown will file a grievance against the Cheap New England Patriots Jerseys and the NFLPA will represent him in it.

But after Brown’s tirade, a source told Schefter that “Kraft [is] never writing that check, no matter what the ruling is now.”

In since-deleted tweets, Brown called out Kraft and former Cheap Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys teammate Roethlisberger. Brown referred to Kraft’s ongoing case in Florida in which he was charged with solicitation for allegedly receiving a sex act at a massage parlor and Roethlisberger’s four-game suspension in 2010 for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy based on a sexual assault accusation.

“Kraft got caught in the parlor AB speculations fired different strokes different folks clearly,” Brown said in a now-deleted tweet that also appeared to include a photo of Taylor.

Of Roethlisberger he earlier tweeted: “4 games for Big Ben crazy world I’m done with it.”

Brown’s tweets came a day after his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told Schefter that he has had communication “with a few teams that are interested” in his client.

Rosenhaus told Schefter that the teams “want information regarding his legal situation and the Cheap NFL Jerseys investigation” into the wide receiver.

A source told Schefter that some in the Cheap NFL Jerseys believe that it was unlikely Brown would sign with another team until the league’s investigation is resolved — although there may never be a deal, if the wide receiver is to be believed.

The Cheap NFL Jerseys released a statement Friday night that said Brown would not be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list while he is a free agent but warned, “If he is signed by a club, such placement may become appropriate at any time depending on the status of the investigation.” The Cheap NFL Jerseys also said its investigation into Brown is “ongoing and will be pursued vigorously and expeditiously.”

TAMPA, Fla. — Rookie quarterback Daniel Jones had an impressive first start in place of Eli Manning, rallying the Cheap New York Giants Jerseys from an 18-point first-half deficit to a 32-31 victory over the Cheap Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys on Sunday.

Jones accounted for four touchdowns, including a 7-yard run on fourth down that put the Cheap New York Giants Jerseys ahead for the first time with 1:16 remaining in the game.

“We had a chance there at the end of the game. That’s all you can ask for,” said Jones about the eight-play, 75-yard game-winning drive. New York’s previous four possessions resulted in three punts and a turnover. “We kinda struggled to move the ball there at points and — just a great job, great job moving the ball down the field as a team. We got some guys open, and they made plays. So great job, loved the fight and loved the grit of this win.”

Jones finished 23-of-36 for 336 yards with two passing and two rushing touchdowns, flashing the poise and playmaking ability that made the Cheap New York Giants Jerseys fall in love enough to make him the No. 6 overall pick in this year’s draft.

TAMPA, Fla. — Cheap New York Giants Jerseys star running back Saquon Barkley needed to be helped to the locker room after injuring his ankle late in the second quarter Sunday against the Cheap Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys and he didn’t return to the Cheap New York Giants Jerseys‘ 32-31 win.

Barkley has a high ankle sprain and he’s scheduled to have an MRI on Monday, sources said.

“I really don’t know too much about the injury, got an X-ray on it,” Barkley said. “Nothing’s wrong with it there. Going to get a better understanding of what it is and whatever it is I’m going to work my tail off.”

Barkley was injured after his right ankle bent awkwardly while being tackled by Bucs safety Mike Edwards. Barkley limped to the sideline, where he was immediately attended to by trainers.

The All-Pro running back went to the locker room with the help of trainers. He couldn’t put much pressure on the ankle. He was later seen on the sideline in the second half on crutches and wearing a boot on his injured foot.

It’s a big blow for a Cheap New York Giants Jerseys offense that had first-round pick Daniel Jones making his first career start. The Cheap New York Giants Jerseys were already without two of their top receivers in Golden Tate (suspension) and Cody Latimer (concussion).

Barkley entered Sunday second in the Cheap NFL Jerseys with 227 yards rushing. He was averaging 7.8 yards per carry.

The second-year back had eight carries for 10 yards and four catches on five targets for 27 yards before exiting Sunday’s game with the injury.

The Cheap New York Giants Jerseys (1-2) topped 17 points for the first time this season against a Todd Bowles-led defense that had looked solid the first two weeks. They escaped with the victory after Tampa Bay missed a 34-yard field goal attempt as time expired.

Manning had been the team’s full-time starter for all but one game since 2004, but coach Pat Shurmur made the switch after last week’s loss to the Cheap Buffalo Bills Jerseys, saying that Jones was the better option for the Cheap New York Giants Jerseys. The rookie proved Shurmur correct, at least in his first career start.

Jones led the Cheap New York Giants Jerseys on four touchdown drives and flashed playmaking ability throughout. He ran for a touchdown in the first and second halves and used his legs on numerous occasions to create positive gains on plays that would have otherwise been dead.

“You can start to see — and as you get to appreciate him as a player — there’s plenty of things he needs to do better. But as you get to — there’s certain things that I knew about this kid when we drafted him: He was tough, he was competitive, and in my opinion he’s a winner,” Shurmur said. “Now, the rest of it is just pure quarterback stuff. And because of those first three things, that’s why he’s gonna have a chance moving forward.”

Jones rallied the Cheap New York Giants Jerseys from a 28-10 halftime deficit. He hit tight end Evan Engram in stride running across the field for a 75-yard touchdown on the opening possession of the second half. He made a brilliant throw across his body deep downfield to fellow rookie Darius Slayton after shuffling around the pocket later in the third quarter. Later in that same drive, Jones dropped a perfectly placed ball into the arms of Sterling Shepard in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown, cutting the lead to 28-25.

What Jones showed on the field in his first career start was much the same as what the team has seen ever since he stepped into the building earlier this year. He checked all the boxes this spring and summer, and completed better than 85 percent of his passes during the preseason.

The lone knock was ball security. After three fumbles in the preseason, Jones lost a fumble on one of his four snaps late in the season-opening loss to the Cheap Dallas Cowboys Jerseys. He also lost a pair of fumbles on Sunday when he was sacked in the third and fourth quarters against the Bucs.

But the positives significantly outweighed the negatives in this outing. Jones displayed impressive composure and poise not usually seen from rookie quarterbacks. It looked like he belonged right from the start when he completed five of his first six passes in the first quarter.

Jones’ first career touchdown came on a 7-yard scamper early in the second quarter. It was a zone-read on which he kept the ball and outraced the nearest defender to the pylon. Bucs coach Bruce Arians noted in the week leading up to the game that the biggest difference between Manning and Jones was the youngster’s mobility.

Jones finished with 28 yards on four rushes, but it was his ability to escape pressure on multiple plays that proved invaluable. As one coach told ESPN recently about Manning, when a play with him at the helm was off schedule, it “was over.”

That clearly was not the case with Jones, as the Cheap New York Giants Jerseys‘ offense scored more points Sunday than it had in the first two games combined.

Baltimore Ravens Jerseys China

ayweather’s up and coming fighter received a lot of love from a massive Baltimore Ravens crowd.

During the recent Baltimore Ravens vs. Arizona Cardinals game, undefeated super featherweight champ Gervonta Davis made a surprise appearance. The Ravens crowd went wild and cheered for Davis as soon as he appeared on M&T Bank’s stadium’s big screen.

In boxing, Davis is one of the fighters Floyd Mayweather’s rising stars. In the past, Mayweather has been consistent in mentoring Davis especially in the public.

Like any other fighters, Davis has had some issues with Mayweather but their relationship in boxing has been quite good lately. In fact, Mayweather once defended Davis during the time when the young champ was being accused of ducking fights.

According to Mayweather, he should be the one to be criticized as Davis’ job is to just fight and not negotiate, Boxing Scene reported.

“When I say, ‘Who you wanna fight?,’ he say, ‘It doesn’t matter.’ So he don’t pick and choose. So, if y’all wanna criticize anybody, criticize me, criticize Leonard Ellerbe or criticize whoever. But don’t criticize the fighters. The fighter’s job is to go out there and fight and be the best that they could possibly be,” Mayweather said.

Davis is the current WBA super feather weight champ. With an undefeated record of 22-0, Davis has the potential to be boxing’s next biggest star. However, Davis claims that he hasn’t fought anybody that would put his name along with the top guys.

In his recent interview with ESPN, Davis said that he badly wants to win more belts even in the heavier divisions.

“I just want to move up and try to win more belts, basically make myself one of the top guys. So I think it was best for me to move up and try to get one of them belts ,” Davis stated.

In the process, Davis could end up fighting the lightweight title holder Vasyl Lomachenko. Davis has expressed his desire to fight “Loma” but he is open for the possibility that it wouldn’t happen soon.

“Lomachenko is definitely one of the top opponents for me at 130 or 135. I believe it will happen, but it got to be at the right time,” Davis noted.

Meanwhile, Davis is also linked to another rising star Tevin Farmer. However, according to Farmer’s promoter Eddie Hearn, Mayweather has issues with the fighter’s pay.

“You’re Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather! I’m just lil’ ol’ Eddie Hearn, I ain’t got your kind of money. So let’s go in there, agree the split beforehand,” Hearn said.

We’re only two weeks into the 2019 NFL season and things are already crazy. While the Baltimore Ravens sit at 2-0, not every team has been so lucky. One such team is the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have yet to win a game. Their lackluster start has led cornerback Jalen Ramsey to ask for a trade out of town, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

While cornerback is easily Baltimore’s deepest position, it’s a trade the Ravens should try their hardest to pull off. To understand why, we have to look at a few different factors.

Since coming into the league in 2016, Ramsey has earned no lower than a 72.8 overall grade from Pro Football Focus for a season. His grade has been as high as a 90.6 in 2017. By comparison, Baltimore’s Marlon Humphrey is having a fantastic season and is currently posting a 66.6 overall grade. Though Ramsey’s grade this year is downright awful, the team around him likely has a large effect on that.

Ramsey is also still on his rookie deal, which carries a lot of weight in any trade talks. According to Over The Cap, Ramsey has just a $7.43 million cap hit (just $3.63 million if traded) in 2019 and has a fifth-year option at $13.7 million in 2020. By comparison, the Ravens’ Jimmy Smith has a $15.85 million cap hit this year. That makes Ramsey a relative bargain for two years, especially when considering his level of play.

Smith is also set to hit free agency in the offseason, something Baltimore has to account for. Though it seems the Ravens are hoping Anthony Averett steps up into that role, Ramsey would give Baltimore arguably the best secondary in the league for at least two years, if they extend neither Ramsey or Humphrey along the way.

It’s important to weigh any value and production Ramsey brings to the team against what it’ll cost in a trade. According to Shefter, Jacksonville wants at least a first-round pick in exchange. According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, two teams have already stepped up to the plate, including one AFC team offering a first-round pick and a player. Based on that report, I don’t think it would be out of line to say Ramsey will command a first- and fourth-round pick in 2020 — or a haul close to that — by the time a trade is pulled off.

Even if Ramsey would be a two-year rental, Baltimore would also get a compensatory pick in return for letting him leave in free agency — likely a third-rounder considering his level of play thus far. When considering the compensatory pick back into the equation, Ramsey could actually cost less than a first-rounder when everything’s said and done.

Though that’s still a lofty price for a player, finding a cornerback of Ramsey’s caliber (one-time All-Pro, two-time Pro Bowler) is near impossible, regardless of where a team is picking. Could Baltimore draft a player like Ramsey in the first round? Possibly. But by trading for him, they’d be guaranteed one.

Though the Ravens have a star-filled secondary already, they have injuries to Smith and CB Tavon Young, and the unit showed concerning signs Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Being spread wide by Arizona’s offense led to Baltimore giving up big plays down the field. Ramsey might not ultimately fix all of those issues, but it’d give the Ravens the best secondary in the league without question and an answer to teams like the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs — a necessity if they wish to make a deep postseason run.

The Ravens seem to be real contenders this year, having one of the league’s most potent offenses after two weeks. They have a lot more cap space next year and are in line to have 10 draft picks. It all adds up to Ramsey being a great addition without killing Baltimore in either their wallet or their draft equity. If the Ravens feel they have a real shot at the Super Bowl in 2019 and 2020, they should pull the trigger immediately.

Arizona Cardinals Jerseys China

Coming into the 2019 season, the Arizona Cardinals appeared to have a very tough schedule, at least in terms of opposing quarterbacks. They, of course, must face Jared Goff and Russell Wilson twice each, as they are in the NFC West, but they also were slated to face quarterbacks like Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger.

Because of injuries suffered in Week 2, the Cardinals’ schedule appears to have gotten a little lighter.

Roethlisberger is done for the year after needing elbow surgery. The Cardinals will host the Steelers in December. What initially looked like a very difficult game now looks much more winnable, as the Steelers will have Mason Rudolph as their starting quarterback.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees injured his right thumb on Sunday and it will require surgery to repair it. The initial timeline is he should miss about six weeks.

The Cardinals face the Saints on the road in Week 8, which would be the sixth week out for Brees. It is very possible he will not be able to play, meaning a game that most probably counted as a sure loss (on the road in New Orleans) now is much more winnable with Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback.

These are exactly the sort of games the Cardinals should take advantage of as they make their way through the 2019 schedule. Winning one or both of those games could go a long way toward keeping them relevant in any potential postseason picture they hope to be a part of.

The Cardinals were unable to escape Baltimore with their first victory of the young season, but there were plenty of performances by individual players to get excited about. The wide receiver corps as a whole looks like a far cry from the poor performances we saw put on last season. There were also a couple of defensive standouts as well. Let’s take a look at a few names below and vote on who your player of the game was.

Larry Fitzgerald: The G.O.A.T. was at it again. At 36 years of age, Fitz can still do it all, including finding ways to get open down the field for big chunk plays. Overall, he had 5 catches for 104 yards on 11 targets, including one really slick one handed catch in the first half.

Christian Kirk: Fitz’s counterpart was also really good. Kirk, the second year receiver, got a chance to show off his speed on a couple of flare passes to get him out on the perimeter where he is able to do the most damage to the defense. Kliff Kingsbury found better ways to get him open this week as opposed to week one against the Lions, which was nice to see.

Damiere Byrd: How clutch was Byrd? He had two monstrous catches for first downs, including one on a 4th-and-1 play on a quick slant route. We knew that his speed was going to be a big asset to this air raid offense, but his hands have been incredibly solid as well and it is becoming easier and easier to see why he made the roster out of training camp.

Corey Peters: Peters was probably the most dominant Arizona Cardinal defender on Sunday. He had one of the mere two sacks the Cardinals were able to get on Lamar Jackson, but he was also able to frequently get push up the middle to blow up Baltimore running plays. The veteran defensive tackle is as solid as they come, but he appeared to be one of the few front seven players that showed up to play.

Kyler Murray: The rookie sensation continues to impress more and more each week. He threw for 350 yards in the air and looked composed throughout the game. The downside was that he did not throw for a touchdown pass, but he made some great plays (including a couple of scary ones where he threw off his back foot) to help the Cardinals make it a close game in the fourth quarter. Once the offense figures out how they want to handle red zone opportunities, Kyler is only going to become more potent.

So, who was your player of the game? Let us know in the comments below!

San Francisco 49ers Jerseys China

The San Francisco 49ers return home from their two week road trip with an imposing 41-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. San Francisco managed to hold Cincinnati’s offense to just 316 total yards, while Jimmy Garoppolo and Co. put up 41 points and 572 yards in the Week 2 victory. Take a look at six of San Francisco’s top performers, courtesy of Jeff Deeney of Pro Football Focus, as well as the 49ers snap counts from Sunday’s contest.

1. Kwon Alexander – 91.5 overall grade

Alexander led the team with the highest overall grade on Sunday. San Francisco’s linebacker was excellent in coverage in his first full game as a member of the 49ers. Alexander registered an interception, two pass breakups, six tackles and allowed only three catches on six targets for 19 yards for a 17.4 passer rating allowed. Alexander’s Week 2 outing earned him a spot on PFF’s Team of the Week.

2. Ronald Blair III – 90.7 overall grade

Blair earned the second-highest overall grade on the day, totaling a sack and two quarterback hurries through 23 pass-rushing snaps. He also notched three run stops in his 11 snaps versus the run and was part in limiting the Bengals ground game to just 25 total yards. Blair was also named to PFF’s “Team of the Week” following Sunday’s performance.

3. George Kittle – 87.3 overall grade.

San Francisco’s tight end earned the team’s top grade on offense for the second-straight week. Kittle caught all three of his targets on Sunday for 54 yards. Of his 54 yards, 34 came after the catch (11.3 average after the catch). He also excelled in run blocking and did not allow a single quarterback pressure in his six pass blocking snaps.

4. Raheem Mostert – 85.6 overall grade

Mostert registered his first career touchdown reception on a 39-yard pass from Garoppolo, the longest of his career. The running back totaled three catches for 68 yards while also adding 13 carries for 83 yards on the ground for a career-high 151 scrimmage yards. An impressive 60 of Mostert’s 83 rushing yards came after contact as he averaged 6.4 yards per carry. On his 16 touches against the Bengals (13 rushing, three receiving) seven resulted in either a first down or a score. Mostert is averaging 4.5 yards per carry after contact through the first two weeks of the season and was also the third 49er named to the “Team of the Week.”

t5. Matt Breida – 85.4 overall grade

Breida registered 12 carries for 121 yards (10.08 average) in Cincinnati, his fourth career game with 100 or more rushing yards. Of his 121 yards on the ground, 80 came after contact. Breida also registered five carries of 10 yards or more on the day. Mostert and Breida earned the top two overall grades in Week 2 among qualifying NFL running backs.

t5. DeForest Buckner – 85.4 overall grade

Buckner recorded his first sack of the season against Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. The defensive lineman also recorded a quarterback hit as well as three hurries.

The San Francisco 49ers’ brass needs to be asking itself a simple question now that multiple star players at need positions have requested trades.

“Can we get someone in the 2020 NFL Draft that’s better than said player?”

This question is more prevalent now that Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey has requested a trade.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to break the news Monday evening. He followed that up with another report suggesting that the 24-year-old Ramsey will likely be traded at some point this week.

A first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2016, Ramsey just got into a sideline spat with head coach Doug Marrone during the team’s loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday. It’s the latest in a long line of issues the former top-five pick has had with his team.

Eligible for an extension this past offseason for the first time, nothing came to fruition on that end. Ramsey made waves by reporting to training camp in a Brinks Truck. This is a clear indication that he wants to get paid big time.

For good reason. Ramsey has been among the best cover guys in the NFL since entering the league, earning a Pro Bowl appearance in each of the past two seasons. He’s coming off a Week 2 performance in which the Florida State product held all-everything Houston Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins to less than three yards per target.

The question here is whether the 49ers would be interested in a player that has proven to be divisive in the past. Ramsey’s personality is well known. It has clashed with those within the Jaguars’ organization a ton in the past. It’s certainly something general manager John Lynch and Co. will look into.

Then again, the 49ers did what they could to trade for boisterous former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. prior to him being dealt to the Cleveland Browns during the spring. San Francisco does not seem to have an issue adding players of Ramsey’s ilk to its locker room. That’s the first point we must make when determining whether he’s a fit.

On the field, it’s rather obvious that San Francisco would have interest in Ramsey. The team has done everything possible to upgrade its cornerback position. That included signing Pro Bowler Richard Sherman away from the Seattle Seahawks prior to last season and taking a chance on former Chargers Pro Bowler Jason Verrett this past offseason.

It goes without saying that Ramsey would act as a dramatic upgrade over Ahkello Witherspoon opposite Sherman at cornerback. Sure the third-year player has been tremendous thus far this season, but he’s no Jalen Ramsey.

Over the long term, adding someone of Ramsey’s ilk to the mix would be a tremendous way to eventually replace Sherman as the veteran either transitions from cornerback to safety or calls it quits on his career.

Having Ramsey on the roster would not be a major detriment when it comes to Witherspoon or Sherman. Both would welcome him with open arms. In fact, an argument could be made that one could move to the slot corner position. That has been an issue in San Francisco over the past several seasons.

There’s also some strong familiarity here. Ramsey’s rookie season included current 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh acting as the Jaguars’ linebackers coach. He took that defensive scheme with him to Northern California. It’s the type of in your face secondary play that has defined Ramsey’s career thus far.

We do, however, have other factors to look at here. The Jaguars are reportedly asking teams for at least one first-round pick in return for Ramsey. San Francisco is somewhat handcuffed in that it traded away a second-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for Pro Bowl pass rusher Dee Ford last April. Would the 49ers go ahead and deal away their top-two picks in next year’s draft? That’s an open question.

What we do know is that Ramsey is more proven and more talented than any top-end cornerback San Francisco could envision adding in the 2020 NFL Draft. At just 24 years old, he’s a long-term solution.

That’s something the 49ers’ brass has sought in trades since Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch took over. It started with the trade for Jimmy Garoppolo during the 2017 season and culminated in the Ford acquisition this past March. In between, San Francisco flirted with adding the above-mentioned Odell Beckham Jr. to the mix.

Realistically, any move to acquire Ramsey would have to include the 49ers working out a long-term deal with the Pro Bowler. Based on the market dynamic, this would include Ramsey getting north of $15 million annually on a long-term deal with a good $50-plus million in guarantees.

San Francisco is not cap restrictive in that it could afford to bring on that salary on defense. It has north of $20 million to spend under the cap this season alone. The team also hasn’t committed a whole bunch of cash to the secondary moving forward. That’s a big key when determining whether Ramsey to the 49ers is a viable option.

At 2-0 on the season, San Francisco is in position to make waves in the NFC Playoff race. It has no intention of picking anywhere near the top 10 come April. That should alter the team’s thinking when it comes to exhausting a first-round pick for a veteran of Ramsey’s ilk.

At the very least, San Francisco’s brass has to be on the phone with the Jaguars to see if it cane make a move for Ramsey. A player of this ilk does not hit the market too often. It’s time for Mr. Lynch and Co. to pounce.
