Charlotte Hornets Jerseys China

It’s Friday. The best day of the week and the day where we give you several links from around the world wide web with stories about the Charlotte Hornets.

The Hornets upcoming 2K team, Venom GT, unveiled their court design

The court will only appear in the video game, but it’s a cool design.

Michael Pina of SB Nation thinks the Hornets should go all-in on experimentation with this roster

I think his outlook of the roster is a little exaggerated, as he seems to somehow think this roster is simultaneously the least talented in the league while somehow also being destined for a late lottery pick. Though I don’t hate the idea of experimenting with different philosophies in an otherwise lost season.

Malik Monk has been focusing on adding muscle and getting shots up this offseason

The third year guard has a huge opportunity in front of him with the departures of Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb. Adding muscle should help him improve his finishing at the basket.

Rod Boone of The Athletic answered reader questions in a mailbag

He explained who he thinks deserves the brunt of the blame for the Hornets current situation, playing time for the young guys and the grade he gives for Mitch Kupchak’s performance as general manager. But perhaps most interestingly, he gave us a glimpse into why a potential Hornets trade for Marc Gasol fell through.

One more player could’ve been that extra boost the Hornets needed and from what I understand it was really close with Marc Gasol before he signed with Toronto.

I don’t know what they offered specifically, but I do know they were going to pull the trigger on that trade until it fell through because Gasol wouldn’t commit to Charlotte beyond the 2018-19 season.
