New York Knicks Jerseys China

New York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. drops 50 points at the Crawsover Pro-Am league event in Seattle.
New York Knicks fans better get a look at this because their point guard is lighting it up on the court.

In the Crawsover Pro-Am league event in Seattle, Dennis Smith Jr. dropped 50 points and made it look easy in the process.

With flashy dunks, spot-up shooting and the tenacity to get to the rim, Smith Jr. did it all at the Crawsover event. What a showing, to say the least.

The league, created by former NBA player Jamal Crawford, has proved to be a competitive men’s summer league. However, it didn’t seem like there was much competition to stop Smith Jr. at all.

DSJ will be looking to help man a young group of players for the Knicks this season. After missing out on big names in free agency, the Knicks’ goal was to curate a group of younger talent.

Therefore, New York drafted RJ Barrett and Ignas Brazdeikis and gave contracts to guys such as Julius Randle and Bobby Portis. The roster also includes individuals such as Mitchell Robinson, Taj Gibson, Wayne Ellington, Frank Ntilikina, and Kevin Knox.

The Dallas Mavericks previously drafted Smith Jr. with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. After playing 101 games for Dallas from 2017-19, the Mavs traded DSJ to the Knicks for Kristaps Porzingis, Tim Hardaway Jr., Trey Burke, and Courtney Lee. DeAndre Jordan and Wesley Matthews went over to New York with DSJ in the trade as well.
